I cannot recommend this restaurant. I landed here, unfortunately, because I thought I was going to a sushi place. I need to be sure I look at reviews before I enter an establishment.
It was around 2PM so I assume it was still lunch hours. I was charged $16.03 and I assure you I did not eat anywhere near that amount of food.
They did a good job of cleaning up spills and keeping the dishes full. However, the amount of sodium and MSG in the dishes was disgusting. For example, the wrapper of the vegetable egg roll tasted like it had been soaked in salt water. I have never eaten anything like that. Every dish I tried looked good, but the overpowering salt taste was a huge disappointment. Even the sriracha sauce tasted like it had additional salt. I love Chinese food and understand that there is typically large amounts of sodium but this place takes it to extreme levels.
There were three kinds of sushi; one with tempura and two different styles of California roll. I chose both types of Call rolls. The avocado style wasn’t bad but the other type was loaded with cream cheese and not edible imho.
I tried the ice cream and it all looked like it had melted and refrozen. I dug into the middle but both bites of two different flavors had the same gritty taste. There was an egg custard that was delicious.
The rest room was icky. I will not be back and suggest anyone who contemplates eating here for the first time should skip this experience and...
Read moreONE WORD DESCRIBES THE OVERALL EXPERIENCE WITH REGARD TO FOOD, ATMOSPHERE, SERVICE, CLEANLINESS.... HORRIBLE ! ARRIVED FOR LUNCH, PERSON IN FRONT OF US IN LINE PAID $8.00. WE STEPPED UP THEY CHARGED US ALMOST $50 FOR MYSELF, MY WIFE, 10 YEAR OLD SON (COMBINED, AS THE GIRL SAID THE TIME WAS DINNER MENU). I TRIED THE SPRING ROLLS, EGG DROP SOUP, PEPPER SHRIMP. ALL WERE NOT EDIBLE. I TRIED OTHER SIMPLER FOOD LIKE THE ONION RINGS, GARBAGE ! I WENT TO FILL UP MY DRNK GLASS WITH LEMONADE, THE DISPENSER WAS SO DIRTY, THE DRINK WOULD NOT FLOW. I ASKED FOR HOT TEA, WHICH WAS ABOUT THE ONLY THING WORTH INGESTING. I GOT UP TO LEAVE AND TOOK MY BOY TO THE WASHROOM, THE TOILET BOWL AND SEAT WAS FILTHY AND STAINED BROWN WITH NO WATER IN THE BOWL TO FLUSH. I COMPLAINED AFTER LEAVING THE WASHROOM AND OF COURSE EMPLOYEES SUDDENLY COULD NOT SPEAK ENGLISH. AFTER WE LEFT THIS PLACE WE WENT SHOPPING AT WAL MART, MY SON ENDED UP WITH DIARRHEA APPROXIMATELY 2 HOURS AFTER EATING, MY WIFE ENDED UP WITH DIARRHEA AS WELL, HOWEVER SHE HAD AN ACCIDENT IN THE CAR ON OUR DRIVE HOME.

Read moreIt's disappointing giving this place a 2. Everything is just dated and the food has serious temperature issues. The hot food was no where near hot, best described as luke warm. The desserts, which were small cakes and such are ones that would best be served cool to cold. Again, luke warm would be the best description of their temperature. The food was about average with the standouts being the won ton soup, the fried plantains, and the pepper shrimp for me. Egg rolls were not hot and too mushy. Other items seemed inconsistently sauced or left to die on the buffet. The potstickers seemed good inside, but there were dried out parts along the edge and they just seemed oddly old for me arriving 30 minutes after they opened. Every staff member was friendly and I observed a few of them helping elderly and disabled patrons fill and carry their plates back to their tables, a...
