In February I decided to sign up for this gym while passing by had no idea what kind of gym it was but needed a change. I use to blame my work schedule that I didn’t have time to work out because I work overnight. I made a decision that after I got off work I would go straight to the gym and do a morning build class. It was hard in the beginning but the coaches always insured me that there’s always modifications for everything as long as I was moving. One thing a Pharos coach told me and I will always remember he said “ you can’t compare yourself to others here everyone’s is on their own different journeys, you have to put blinder on and focus on yourself.” That really meant a lot to me after that I stop comparing myself to others and just focused on the thing I could do. This gym has change me mentally and physically. I lost 35 pounds from being here I feel a lot stronger and happier. The staff, members and coaches have made me feel welcome! I am so disappointed. I had my heart set on trying out this new gym because I’m a fitness enthusiast. On October 23, 2024 I paid the $49 for the initial grand opening and received an email that informed me that an agent would contact me at the number I provided. This of course did not happen and I lost track of this gym opening because I thought it probably never got built. But I found out it’s in full operation and I’ve never been contacted and they kept my money. I am pretty livid. It’s not the money. It’s the way this was done.

When I tried to go back into the email that I received from them I kept getting an error message and there’s no phone number to talk to a human being. This is not the kind of gym anybody should belong to. I’ll be contacting Chase bank for a full refund. I’m also inclined to contact the CA Consumer Affairs Division…and other business and...

Pharos made the perfect home base for a weeklong DIY fitness vacation. I chose this gym for its high-quality programming and equipment, which lived up to my (high!) expectations. I took "Build," "Train" and "Repair" classes during my trip, and found them all challenging and fun. The best part was the intangibles: top-notch coaches who got to know me and pushed me toward my athletic goals, and friendly members who made Pharos feel like a community.
