I first ever came here for my son whom had a really bad rash. We had dr friendy, I feel like he just rushed everything and just made it seem like “oh it’s just hives”…my son is 1 and had had it for a few days already. I figured, okay whatever he’s not a peds doc. Went back today for myself for eye pain/redness/swollen for 3 days now. Looked at my eye for about 5 seconds. Diagnosis was..”looks irritated, use eye drops and warm compresses.” REALLY? I could’ve told you that it was irritated from my house. Didn’t say if it continues for said amount of days to return or anything. OH and I had to ask him what the diagnosis was. But even aside from that, second time now seeing this doc and same impression. Always seems like he’s in a rush to push you out and not actually listen. The other back end staff doesn’t give you the time of the day either. Only positive is the lady’s up front at check in. Wont be returning here anymore. Pretty disappointed with the care, or lack of. UPDATE 2 days after this visit my eye had significantly gotten worse so I went to my normal eye doctor. They told me it was an eye infection and that it could’ve been a lot worst if I left it go…. I had an appt with them on a Friday afternoon. ( After first going to my PCP ON WEDNESDAY).. THE PROBLEM WAS I HAD SWELLING IN LEFT LEG, RIGHT ANKLE AND FOOT. WHILE THE RIGHT SIDE SWELLING WENT DOWN THE RIGHT SIDE HAD STAYED AND GOTTEN WORSE SINCE WEDNESDAY. SO THIS IS WHERE """URGENT""" CARE COMES IN. The doctor there's.. And I use that time loosely.. When P.A. would be used very loosely with this one . Anyway he told me he won't do anything. No antibiotics, no water pill, . Be said I need an ultra sound because it's possibly a blood clot. So I said ok. I'll go do that after work today or tomorrow. He proceeded you tell me my PCP had to other that. WHAT? YA.. BUT THEY HAVEN'T... NOW IT'S FRIDAY AFTERNOON SO I WILL BE LUCKY TO GET AN APPT EARLY EARLY NEXT WEEK! HE SAID IT COULD GO TO MY LUNGS MY BRAIN MY HEART.. BUT DOES NOTHING! WHAT A WORLD WE LOVE IN. ALWAYS PASSING THE BUCK THESE DO CALLED HEALTH CARE INSTITUTIONS. IT'S A BIG JOKE. SO WHEN I LOSE LEG OR HAVE A STROKE MY FAMILY WILL BE SUEING HIM! POSSIBLY LVHN. My adult daughter is between jobs with no current insurance I called LVHN Palmerton express care and inquired out of pocket cost for an uninsured person and was quoted a figure that I agreed to pay Once arriving I asked again what the amount would be for this visit and was told the same amount, unless they had to include labs, bloodwork, exray ect.. We saw a young female PA (name withheld) She was very polite and diagnosed a skin condition My daughter asked if it could be anything else and she was told “no that’s what it is, I’ve seen it before” There were no prescriptions for systemic or topical treatments offered

And so we saw another doc the following day and were informed their could be a variety of causes and we left with a prescription for an ointment that helped greatly, eventually resolving the issue

But we keep receiving additional billing from Lvhn Palmerton with a balance from their insurance company? Claiming that the facility is due an amount higher that what I paid and so far all calls to Lvhn have been a waste of time I will not pay this additional fee and will file a formal complaint with management For poor inaccurate care and treatment and...
