Usually it's a nice experience to shop here, but the other day it was completely ridiculous and unprofessional. While we were looking around trying to make a purchase, one of the employees was being obnoxious yelling excessively about the forklift coming by and constantly making jokes with the driver not watching where he was going. Noticed a bunch of employees that day huddled together not doing anything even though there were a lot of customers that day. At some points while their group was laughing and walking around, they got in ours' and other costumers' way when we tried to get by. Almost checked out in the garden area, but the girl working in that section was too busy having a conversation with the young security guard and they just left. So we went inside to check out, and lo and behold, the cashier was busy texting on her phone while ringing up customers. When it finally came to my turn, I had to stand there awkwardly for the receipt because she was finishing typing up her message to whoever she was texting. "Here you go." *I mean.... alright then. Our family was in search of 2" inch vertical blinds and headed to Home Depot with our measurements. I did my measurements and research just in case any of the employees were too busy I would feel confident going about picking the right sizes.
What surprised me was right off the bat SERGIO asks us if we needed any help. The fact that SERGIO approached us first and we didn't need to hunt down a Home Depot employee was very reassuring. SERGIO took the time to go through my measurements. (Sidenote: Everyone knows home improvement projects can be stressful and I will admit I was a little frustrated trying to get the right blinds for my windows. But SERGIO was very calm and collective and very patient with me).
SERGIO located the sizes of blinds I needed and also cut our blinds right then and there to fit the exact measurements we needed.
As a loyal customer to Home Depot, I must say SERGIO stands out with his knowledge and customer service. I was in and out of Home Depot in no time and returned home and put up the blinds. They fit perfectly....
Read moreI went there today and I was helped by two young women that were very helpful and kind then an issue occurred where the item I purchased was wrongly marked at $99.99 I did not know that after purchasing it the cost was $199.00 since on the display. It had a different price when I brought it to the manager in charge Sarah she refused to help me and was very rude. A different Manager was called on the phone and offered me a 25% off, but that’s not what the tool cost on display. I believe I was wrong by the manager at Home Depot by not giving me the item at what it was marked for at the shelf, I would never go back to this Home Depot again and my even cut ties with Home Depot has a hole and we’ll go somewhere else for my business. I surely hope that Home Depot will correct the matter and discipline their managers that when something is priced at a certain price it should be given to that price. It is a law. I just did not want to involve the law but the way I’m feeling right now. I probably will involve lawyers. I encourage those of you that feel the same way not to go to this Home Depot...
