I stopped in this quaint little candy store in downtown Paris, Kentucky. I wasn’t really expecting much. Was I ever mistaken! It sells the BEST fudge - and in several flavors. I wish I could have bought more fudge and and candy in general. I was flying and did t have luggage space. . . This store sells a combination of vintage candy and candy that’s popular today. From what I understand, this business just opened in the last month or so and the owner plans to extend his inventory as he builds up his business. Read moreToday I had the pleasure of stopping by the Bourbon County Confectionary. This was my first time! When you first walk in you are greeted by the sweet smell of fudge. The establishment is very clean and organized. There are various choices of individual candies to choose from. There’s chocolate covered Oreos, potato chips and pretzels along with various fudge. I opted for the chocolate peanut butter fudge. It is delicious! I am currently eating it as I type this. There is also ice cream! I will be coming back soon for that! Read moreHonestly, at $5 a square for fudge (or a 1/4 lb), I wasn't sure. But it was worth it! Im new to the area and walked around down town looking through the shops. They're all small. This shop didnt seem to have alot (it's still pretty new). But this is the BEST fudge I've ever had and I would easily pay $5 a square again. My boyfriend agrees.
We tried the butterfinger and the salted caramel. 10/10...
