This was absolutely the most disgusting food that I have ever eaten in my life. My daughter and I came in for dinner and ordered 2 eggrolls, 2 wonton soups, Beef with mixed vegetables, and bowl of soup Pho. First the guy brings out what is suppose to be 2 egg rolls which in fact springs rolls. They were absolutely disgusting and cold, and there was no soy sauce anywhere to kill the taste. Then he brings out the wonton soup that smells like burnt rubber tires. The taste was so awful it almost made me throw up. Then he brought out my beef with mixed vegetables. It was the most horrible Chinese food I have ever had in my entire life. The meat and vegetables tasted like spaghetti O’s!! The sauce was slimy and sticky, and the Chinese vegetables consisted of a few water, chestnuts and carrots and onions. My daughter’s soup tasted like you were eating dirt. It was so bad that I just had to stop eating it after a few bites. I finally asked for some soy sauce to try to kill the taste, but it did absolutely nothing to hide this horrendous tasting food. I should’ve known not to eat here because this place is all over the place. It’s not a regular Chinese food place. It offers fajitas and other weird meals. I cannot believe that anyone has given this place any good reviews. Apparently no one in Paris has ever eaten a good Chinese meal because this absolutely is the most disgusting place I have ever eaten at. Also, when they eventually brought out the soy sauce, it looked like it had not been cleaned in 20 years. The soy sauce bottle was crusty and dry, and look like it had been in the same bottle...
Read moreAs the story goes it was a dark and blustery night... I was on the journey back from Winchester the first time I stumbled into the restaurant for some warm dinner. I had debated the entire drive back what I would like to fill my belly and knew it had been far long enough that I had not dined here yet. I was delightfully surprised at the internal décor. Fitting for the menu items and complementing the space rather well. The owner, a very pleasant gentleman, greeted me in the rear where you order for carry out options. I quickly found what would delight my cravings. I ordered the Singapore noodles and crab ragoons. The crab ragoons were divine and the Singapore noodles exceptional. What was even more special was the conversation with the owner during the brief wait for my order. Such a good and beautiful soul. You can feel the warmth in the dining area and in your meal. I have been there another time since for another carry out order. Again it was ideal and left nothing to want. I look forward to dining inside with my precious spouse one of these days. Paris has so few restaurants. Paradise Café is a gem and hopefully will be around for years to come. I highly recommend the restaurant for your night out dining needs or in general for a quick bite. Convenient street parking and various lots nearby. All free. You can call ahead for carry out or stop in to order. Either way service is fast and superb. Please partake in this awesome restaurant in a beautiful town. Help keep small...
Read moreGreat place! The interior is BEAUTIFUL and fancy. I was super excited to go to Paradise Cafe after seeing it on a show called Big Name Small Town in our hometown in CA. The owner was humbly serving other customers when I excitedly approached him star struck. He was super friendly and kind. I asked about a few favorite Vietnamese dishes and he recommended some items that were similar on his menu. I ordered what I would normally order in the Bay Area and recommended a few dishes to the friends we were dining with. The Singapore noodles were really great! After our delicious meal he came to talk more with us and tell us more of his family's story. I'd DEFINITELY recommend this place and would go again next time...
