I’ve ate at Trackside a number of times over the years since moving to the area. We’ve always been a fan of the atmosphere, the cocktails, and the steaks. Our wedding is coming up and we are planning a weekend full of events for all our guests who are mostly coming in from out of state. We wanted to have a large gathering for lunch for around 60 people. I’ve been coordinating with Dottie and she insisted we come for a tasting. She already had some great ideas in her mind to do a truly Bourbon County Kentucky menu complete with some of the states favorite and featuring local flare and flavor. She wanted a group to join us for the meal and let me just tell you… This was not just any tasting. They came out with entire plates full of ribeye, fried chicken, all the sides and fixings, hot brown served two different ways, as well as recommendations of a bourbon tasting alongside Girl Scout cookies. The hospitality Dottie and the Trackside staff showed us was some of the best I have ever received at any restaurant. We are so excited to be able to provide an experience like this for our guests. They really do go above and beyond for their patrons and there’s wasn’t a single thing we tried that was anything less than divine! We even finished off our tasting with more cocktails, beignets, and bourbon bread pudding. Oh and she gave us complimentary glasses and a bottle of wine to go. We will definitely be hosting future events that include...
Read moreWonderful relaxed atmosphere in a building that dates back almost 150 years and meticulously restored. Be sure and pick up the pamphlet that talks about the history of the building and the current owners. We stopped in during a road trip after consulting Google Maps for a place to eat dinner. Glad we found this place.
We found the food was very flavorful with several items you don’t always see at other restaurants. The pretzel bites were a big hit although there could’ve been more to the basket and the dipping sauces added nicely to the order. Fried chicken dinner, chicken, livers dinner and large salad, all were tasty and plenty of food. I especially enjoyed the Italian style green beans and fresh baked potato. I look forward to trying the pimento dip next visit. Service was well above average and friendly. Even clean bathrooms. Fully stocked bar as well.
The outside patio area was the perfect place to sit and have a relaxed meal. Too bad a train didn’t go by as we were enjoying our food. Lots of large screen TVs to allow one to relax and watch as you have a beer, bourbon or sweet tea, along with comfortable padded, bench seats. It’s a popular spot for the local crowd. They have little spinning arms for the tables to keep flies away from our food. Helped some.
This restaurant is well worth going a little out of your way to visit, and I look forward to my next time in Paris Kentucky and have another wonderful meal at The...

But we do Thank the owner for paying the whole bill whenever he surely didn't have to he could have just taken care of my uncles when he had every reason to. So we do thank him for doing that whenever other places probably wouldn't have. WE all count it all as just a struggle with his employees totally...
