Son's Parrish — Local services in Parrish

Friendly people. High prices. Poor produce.not ever a fresh loaf of bread.they were selling the cherry tomatoes in the cups. Had 2 i could choose from. One cup was 1.63. The other 3.05.... I got the lesser priced cup but looked at ticket and had been charged the 3.05.. I phoned and spoke with the produce man. He went and came back to the phone with the same prices i seen. I said the manager needs to be aware so he could change the price in register. Two days later i went back and planned on getting my refund from the over charge. My intentions was to get another cup. But changed my mind.the 1.63 had jumped to 3.05...so yes they did take advantage of the customers.and i wanted to leave and not buy anything there.but they are out for themselves. And definitely not this community .The workers are the ones that keeps the place going....

Very well organized grocery store. I had to go to Parrish. While I was there already I decided to go to Son's. This is the one day sale held on the first Friday of each month. I found some good buys. Produce was fresh. Hugh Idaho baking potatoes were either 61¢ a pound or you could get an 8lb bag for $2.99. The average weight of a potato was 1&1/2 to 2lbs. The meat was fresh, cut, ground packaged this morning. I talked to the butcher and he said it ( the meat ) was higher than it has been. But he gave me some tips for different cuts of beef that was very helpful. The selves were stocked up with everything the sale paper had in it. The cashier was very nice and well dressed. Close to home great selections we buy all of our meats there.. Just tonight was shopping there and this wasn't a sell regular price... 4 new york strip steak family pack $9.49. In a resturant that wouldn't purchase one of these steaks... 3/4 inch thick pretty steaks for under 10 bucks ...i would say they would be hard to beat when it comes to meat.... And chicken thats a whole nother rant...they always have really good prices on different cuts of chicken.... Customer service has always been top notch... Bottom line my family will shop until they decide to...
