Marlen, the owner, does not know how to cut wavy hair! I should've read the reviews before I went! I came in for a trim, I have been letting my hair grow for 5 years and it was down to my waist but yet she chopped it off to my shoulders even though I expressed to her 3 times that I just wanted 1 inch off and I know that it wasn't a language barrier because I explained in Spanish and she replied that she was gonna respect my length as my hair was very healthy (I trim it every other month somewhere else). Now I wonder if she does it purposely so she can sell it because she had done it to my mom too, but unlike mine, hers had splits, either that or she just can't cut hair and follow instructions. I waited 2 weeks before I posted because I didn't wanted to write something while being upset but the feeling is not going away, I don't even think she deserves 1 star. I had called prior to get an estimate of a price to dye my hair and she said it was going to be $180 then i went in personally to check it out and she said it was going to be $185 and that included everything so i made an appointment. DO NOT COME HERE IF YOU DON’T KNOW HOW TO SPEAK SPANISH l. it took me YEARS to grow out my hair and they chopped it off. The shortest layers are up to my chin and I hate it. they never once asked me how short I wanted anything. And the back of my hair lost a lot of length too. I’m genuinely upset and wish someone there spoke English so that I could better communicate what I wanted... I would have been better off doing my hair myself...
