Burger Tex — Restaurant in Pasadena

Considering I've never been here before. It would have been nice if when i walked in and sat down the girl that I literally walked by that worked there didnt say a word to me . So when I figured out that we had to go to the counter to order . The same girl with no Personality took our order. She didn't tell us that we sat ourselves or how anything worked In their after we ordered . So we sat and waited for our food . Personally she should be fired with the rest of the people in the kitchen . Not one person greets you or says a word . We said thank you when we left and hardly had a response from the cook . Food was ok Nothing to brag about or to even tell people about . I know why now , ive never been here before. . It's that place you drive by a 1000 times and never stop . Well I finally stopped and i totally regret it . The burger tastes like the old frozen meat called steakums . My daughter took 2 bites only . The only thing that was good were the buns that came with the burger and fries. My husband's wings were still frozen in the center . Frozen wings ? Not fresh ? I will not be returning EVER . I'm not sure how this place stays open with workers like that and bad food . Hence, why they always have a hiring sign...

The burgers are really good and the atmosphere is cozy. You get your burger plain and then use the toppings bar to fix it up with the basics, like at Fuddruckers. They do have a hot pot of liquid cheese as well, though it is a bit thin. They also used to have jalapeno cheese, but have discontinued it. Luckily, there's jalapenos on the bar so I could spice up the cheese on my own. The crinkle cut fries are crispy and lightly seasoned and the cheese tasted as good on the fries as it does on the burger. The great thing is the fries are served in a paper basket, so just dump your fries on your tray and use it as a bowl. They do have other food, but I only come for the...

The food was good. Very Mom and Pop type of restaurant. The onion rings were good. Personally I felt the fries could have been cooked a little longer, I like crispy fries, these were just a little too soft for my liking. The burger was good, not sure what type of patty they used but it was flavored well. They may be frozen patties, not fresh; I'm not too sure. We didn't try any other menu items. They have a "serve yourself" add on bar with melted cheese! That was cool. Overall it was ok. I would try other menu items.
