I've been rooting for Rivian for quite some time, the vehicles and the company. I had reserved an R2 and would drive my current vehicle until then, but my vehicle was totaled, so... went here to take a look at the R1S. I walk in, 11am, notice two people on laptops sitting at a table so I walk directly to them very happily and say hello and that I'd like to view the R1 since my vehicle was just smashed on the side of the road (luckily I wasn't in it!), the rep points to the R1S at the front of the store and says "there it is". I walk over alone and get in it, get in the back, then check out the other. I walk to the back and look at the truck. Note: I had driven all the way to Pasadena from Silverlake because I was really excited to get a new Rivian instead of having to wait for the R2. A nice brunette female rep was helping another man and she says hello as they get in and test out the stereo. I walk back over to the two reps, blonde male and blonde female sitting on their laptops to ask a question, the guy gives me a one sentence answer and back to their laptops. I stood there for a few moments figuring they must have thought I didn't actually exist. Other than the one customer already being helped I was the only other non-employee in the store. Read moreVery unfortunate experience with these guys! I had a demo scheduled and after the demo they asked me about the configuration that I wanted. After that they found one that almost matched exactly the one I wanted. I had already reserved one at the time of the demo but they said that if I cancelled that reservation and created a new reservation with them on site that they would grant me a $1,000 for this vehicle that they had identified. So I proceeded, cancelled my old reservation and did a new one. Went home and completed the credit application, paperwork, etc. Going on a month went by and no one ever reached out to me from the delivery dept. I decided to reach out and they said they had no updates for me and had no paperwork on the extra $1,000 long story short they could not do grant the additional credit since they were swapping the wheels and had no intention of getting this resolved as I tried multiple times to request an update from the guide Alex and all he had to say was that he didn’t have any updates. They ran my credit made me pay a second reservation all to end up canceling my order after a month of lies! No wonder why this company can’t sell their cars and it’s doing so well!
