This is an impressive urban park. Whoever designed this park deserves an award, and whoever cleans and maintains it deserves a raise. It's got a little bit of everything and then some.
All the standard amenities, public restroom, playground, paved walking paths, benches, grassy lawns and shade trees. Additionally, there is a nice veterans memorial statue near the center of the park. There is also an amphitheater with a combination of benches and grass in front where free concerts are played in the summer.
The park is right next to a Gold Line rail station and has bus stops on the street beside it. It's a short walk to all the shops and restaurants in Old Town.

P.S.
They gave great grass.
Peace...

The ceremony was very moving and rather well attended. Lots of doggie families too. Benji surprisingly was rather chill throughout the entire time. At...
