My wife and I are big fans of Lululemon, and have been for the past five years. In fact it makes up about 99% of our workout attire and with their new addition of every day clothes it is starting to make up at least half of my every day wardrobe also. One of the reasons we like them so much what is their exchange/return policy they were extremely accommodating and understanding and it’s great for a couple like us who make it a hobby when it comes to losing receipts lol. They have changed their policy in the past few months, which is completely understandable because of all of the retail fraud that unfortunately goes on. However that’s no excuse to be treated poorly. Not only have my wife and I noticed a huge difference in the attitude of a few workers, but mainly when it comes to the managers/GM’s of a few stores. This Pasadena store in particular is a prime example of how customer service has gone completely down the toilet even when you’re shelling out a couple hundred dollars for a workout shirt. I don’t know if the lady who a lot of people have had complaints about is the GM of this store/owner or if she’s just a manager I’m not going to put her name out there. She is Caucasian and extremely tall and if you’ve ever been in a lululemon, you’ll know that’s not really narrowing it down. In the past this is never been an issue but like I said, they have kind of tighten up the return policy, which is quite understandable and they don’t ask of anything outrageous. I don’t think so. You just have to have a valid ID if you don’t have a receipt. Again, which is fine with me, and I am more than happy to oblige, but for some reason whoever has been helping or waiting on me, they have been doing a great job until a question rises, and they have to assess manager to come over for help. She has given me the third degree every time on how the clothes were bought. What did I do with the receipt? Can I provide a new receipt and so on and so forth but it’s not just the questions that bother me it’s her overall demeanor and tone. She comes across as extremely judgmental and makes it seem like she wants you to know that she doesn’t believe a word you were saying. This last incident really annoyed me because it just didn’t make any sense. I was trying to return two items I had my valid ID, which the nice woman at the counter took to scan (keep in mind. I have return clothes here using the same team before and it’s never been an issue.) for whatever reason my ID was not scanning so she called over the manager to see if she could help out in any way. The manager was basically saying there is nothing she could do and there is nothing that she was going to try to do she didn’t ask me to please gather up my belongings and leave the store, I asked her would it be OK if my wife came in with her ID and did the return since they weren’t my clothes even in the first place I was returning them on my wife’s behalf. This is when I realize that she not only had no intention of making the return happen, but she was going to make sure that I knew that for whatever reason she did it think I was telling the truth. She then flat out told me no I’m sorry we can’t do that. In this case you’re the only one who can come in and do the return it Hass to be you and your ID. In what world does that even make sense like I said, these were my wife’s clothes to begin with I was doing her a favor by returning them for her and for whatever reason the manager that only wasn’t going to try and help me get these clothes returned while I was in there, but she said it was unacceptable for my wife to come in with a valid ID and do the same thing I was trying to do in return the clothes stuff, like this is becoming more frequent at this, Lululemon in particular, as well as the one in Malibu, and the one in El Segundo. If you were going to go to lululemon yourself a favor and don’t bother going to any of those locations unless you want to feel like you’re being accused of being a thief and a liar for...
Read moreI've been to this store many times and lululemon is a brand that I feel wears really well with throwing items of clothing into the washing machine and they are good quality so they last with whatever I do.
I wanted to get new things as a motivation to do more exercise in general. Every now and again I start afresh with my workout clothes and it was time.
The first thing I found was a creamy white hoodie with the zip all the way. It was a nice fit and it's going to be one of the base pieces I build on. Then I saw the black one and had to have that too. So I should be able to mix and match with both colors.
They had these high waist tights in lots of colors. I chose the black and grey ones and the store assistant mentioned they are some sort of material that should dry fast if you're working out with them. This is awesome for runs and workouts at the gym. I might have to come back and get another one later if I like them.
The tank tops had a loose fit to go over the tights. So I thought the forest green and mushroom pinkish top would work with the tight colors best. I thought the quality of the fabric felt soft and flowy.
Matched up some sports bras where I was looking for comfort and practicality. They called it the bend this scoop and cross bra, that's a title. They didn't have that many colors to choose from at the time in this particular style but I went for the classic black and white. When I got them home they were very comfortable and came out perfect when I threw them in the washing machine.
I needed a new gym back to throw everything in and found the cutest backpack in pink. It's the perfect size to fit my water bottle, gym gloves, towel, phone and snacks.
Thanks lululemon I'm all set for my active...
Read moreOut of all of the lululemon stores I've been to in Los Angeles this one's still my favorite. It's my 'home' store since it's the closest one to me - but that's not it. The team at this store is ALWAYS on par. No matter if they hire new people or change store leaders/managers. I always have an amazing shopping here!
When I completed my yoga teacher training last year, I came to the store as a treat for myself. An employee here gifted me a pair of pants as a congratulations from the store. So sweet!
Last night, I went in to shop their after Thanksgiving sale racks (this time I brought a friend who's never been) and I noticed they had a new manager. (Shoot, I forgot her name.. she's a blonde and so wonderful!) She chatted with me during check out and she helped me find an item that was sold out in stores but she found it online and had it shipped to me. A young man helped my friend while he was trying on pants, offered their complimentary alterations after he came out and thought he'd be leaving the store empty handed also helped my friend check out and helped me fold and tie their biggest lululemon bag into a yoga mat holder for me. (I got my sister a mat for Christmas!)
Everyone is just always so kind and helpful in this store. I've been to other stores and haven't experienced another store like this one! This store's team goes above and beyond to help you find what you need, if they don't have it in store, they'll help you locate it at another nearby store, if not that, they'll look for it online. I will continue to shop at this store because of the repeated positive...
