Dollar General — Local services in Pataskala

HORRIBLE customer service. Instead of being accommodating & polite. The “manager” working on 4/8/23 @ 4:30-5 is one of the worst “managers” I’ve ever come into contact with. I will say that the other employees I’ve encountered have always been polite. Apparently, Dollar General doesn’t have a customer service phone number & they’ll just “direct you back to the same store that tried to help you” per the “manager”. She also stated that they have a corporate number, but she “doesn’t know what it is”. She just wasn’t helpful & acted as if I was bothering her by asking her to use her managerial experience & make this situation right. Didn’t feel I was asking for much. So nasty & so rude for no reason at all. That woman was irritated from the moment she walked up to the register. I can’t wait to speak with someone over this bird & return all of my items & get my money back, especially since she basically accused me of abusing the digital coupons. Won’t be stepping foot in this store again, that’s for sure. Target employees...

First time ever at this location. And will try not to return. Only two women working here - a cashier and a manager. Both seeming very uninterested in the fact I was there. I go to check out and the manager is talking to the delivery guy about how she got in trouble by corporate. I’m standing by the register for 10 minutes. They are standing next to me. I finally turn around and ask the cashier girl who was in another aisle to please check me out, the manager hears and very rudely checks me out. Store is never open. Current handwritten signs up saying they are closed and store will reopen @ 12pm. Store is also never cleaned, aisles are cluttered and blocked with carts etc, which I believe is a fire code violation. Cashiers are not very friendly. Once I asked for a receipt and the cashier at the time gave a full blown attitude about how they don't have "paper for the machine". Wouldn't recommend shopping here.
