So Aaron and I went to get his tattoo done again second try. We arrived at ten to one appointwas for one. Aaron texted him as we knew they were closed, and he was coming in to do Aaron’s on his day off. He seemed to forget again and when he made it to the shop he threw open the door in a temper tantrum saying that he was called on his day off, twenty minutes before the time he was supposed to be starting the tattoo. He threw down the chairs and was hollering and stomping back and forth. The receptionist was trying to calm him down apologizing to us that he was in a bad mood. Aaron felt uncomfortable to have him tattoo with that attitude and wanted to leave he moment he came in without getting his hundred dollar deposit. I told him we were getting the money back while he was screaming at the receptionists he didn’t care and would do it for free because of his attitude. When receptionist came back to front to apologize again we asked for deposit back and said he was very unprofessional at this point he attacked me and told me to F off and he didn’t want to do the tattoo anyway and I couldn’t call him unprofessional in his own business He then told me I was uncontrolling and demanding. I would give it a 0 star if I could. I got my navel pierced by Jess. She was super sweet while I got it done. But after a few days my entire belly turned black from bruising & my piercing got extremely swollen. After being concerned about it I went to get different opinions from 4 other piercers. I spoke with them and had them all look at the piercing. They all said the same thing. Jess used the wrong size gauge, 12 gauges are not the proper size for navel at all. She pierced it way to close to the surface, and used steel instead of titanium like she advertises. After learning all this and doing more research on what size, metal, and location for piercing they all said the same thing. I called to have a CIVIL conversation with Jess about what had happened. She immediately began to get defensive and emotional and refused to listen to a word I had said. She kept repeating the same thing over again and would not let me speak. She was extremely rude and unprofessional with me. I did not attack her as a piercer and and only wanted to let her know of what happened with my piercing so she can learn from it, instead she argued and yelled at me. I went in to see Jess about re-piercing my 13 year old daughter’s ears. We had a bad experience at a different piercing company and we had to wait until my daughter’s ears healed to repierce them. Jess was so professional, couteous, and patient with all of my questions. I was very impressed with the care she took in checking my daughters ears when she put on sterile gloves to just examine the old piercings. We went in to get her ears pierced, and I am happy to report— We had no infections and it was a great and successful re-piercing. I also want to say that when we got our smaller posts, it was the same professional, and clean environment that we appreciated. Not only that, Jess went above and beyond by looking up tattoo and piercing studios for us because we were moving out of state, just to make sure we would have the same level of professionalism and expertise to care for our continued piercing journey.
