I wrote a review a few weeks ago that stated facts and genuine opinion, (I will copy and paste that below), but since writing said review my husband and I have been harassed by someone who claims to be part of this church but won't say who via Facebook messenger. They've also been removing my review constantly (surely because they know it's true and looks very bad on them). It's absolutely absurd that they can't take a bad review when they have specifically been the ones to cause said review. And no, I won't stop reposting it until I die. . . I can't even explain the level of ignorance in the staff of this church. I've had to burst into staff meetings and demand that they tell members they were exposed to covid, I was the nursery leader (100% volunteer position) and was completely left with zero help and no volunteers so I literally spent almost every service in the nursery. I've been told to "stand to the right and behind my husband". I actually don't think they checked in on me whatsoever when I was giving hours and hours each week to cleaning, maintaining, and planning everything revolving around the nursery. Most of the toys in the nursery are vintage and would probably test high in lead, but no funds were ever provided to replace them so they're safe for children. At one point i made a wishlist to replace the toys and no one would let me share it. The pastors are strange, if I'm being honest. They act like it's a literal play and they're the actors up on the stage, everything feels rehearsed. I've had strong feelings about this church from the moment I stepped in it with these pastors and I've kept my mouth shut to allow my parents to have their church (they've been going to this specific church for over 20 years). Luckily, they were able to leave and now half the church doesn't feel comfortable returning. So like go if you want, but know it's wayyyyyy darker in there than a church...
Read moreGreeted at the front door by bright, smiling, happy, welcoming people who are genuinely glad that you have joined them for their Services! Service started promptly at 10:30. There were 130 in Attendance last week. I was welcomed openly into the Congregation and felt welcomed and at home here! Much to my surprise and GREAT joy, I discovered that they sing the old Nazarene Hymns! I grew up with the great Hymns, have never gotten comfortable with the "worship band & chorus" situation, so I feel very excited to participate in a Church that sings the Greats. They have had a new Pastor for a little over a month, and I very much enjoyed his Sermon, from the 1st part of Revelations (very appropriate for the world right now). The biggest point from the Message was DO NOT FEAR! Comforting. Little sweet ladies approached and invited me to the Pot-Luck after church, where I was greeted with open arms. Looking forward to returning Wednesday for Music Practice, and again next Sunday. Great, loving, welcoming experience at...
Read moreA loving church not afraid to stand up for what’s right. People who won’t back down to bullies. They faithfully serve God and do his will, even when it’s hard. They believe that truth without love is abuse and love without truth is enablement. They know that balance between the two and show Jesus to others because of this. They have been attacked and have stood by this belief. And as Winston Churchill said, “You have enemies? Good. That means you've stood up for something, sometime in your life.” So thank you for being a Godly church that stands up to evil...
