When dealing with a business you think that customer service and trying to make things right on a defective product would be a top priority.
We built a custom home and purchased over $30,000 in cabinetry from S & J. After we moved in we immediately began to loose ball bearings from one of the cabinets...a few a month. I finally contacted them after 7 months to see what could be done. The company took a very hard line on "the limited warranty from the supplier is over, so we'll have to charge you $280 to fix it". I am beyond words that after spending so much money, that this was the stance they chose to take. I even contacted them on 2 separate occasions to discuss the issue. Leaving several messages, I was only ever texted...not called.
My fault for not contacting them sooner (1 month outside of the warranty window)...their fault for taking this approach to customer service.
Other than this issue the cabinets have been fine, but I feel very confident, any other cabinet company would have approached and responded to this very differently.
