I must share a recent deeply disappointing experience at this local driving range, where the owner's behavior was nothing short of awful- and turned into quite an unforgettable experience. It's evident that this owner subscribes to the belief that the louder he shouts, the straighter your shot will magically become. His coaching style can be boiled down to "yell first, ask questions never."

In his hostile world, aspiring young golfers looking to improve their game are treated as unwelcome guests, and he appears to relish verbally assaulting patrons. Instead of approaching matters in a professional manner, like, say, offering golf lessons, this owner chose a different route. He embarked on multiple unprovoked tirades, publicly berating a young golfer (and his parent) who was simply trying to practice and better their skills. Last I checked, driving ranges are meant for precisely that purpose: practice.

My husband and I LOVE Peculiar Golf! It’s a great atmosphere, fun, relaxed, and very welcoming. Cindy and Steve are so cordial, you feel like you’ve known them forever. I have also had a couple of lessons from Cindy recently and I am actually starting to love golf. I have played/ had lessons in the past ten years and it just didn’t click and that passion wasn’t there, that has definitely changed after my lessons with Cindy. She is very passionate about what she does and who she is working with, she even thought of me and got a metronome for my next lesson to get my rhythm down. my sons and I started going to the driving range about 4 months ago. they were struggling and get frustrated as most of us do at times. We Met Chaz there and decided to sign up for a lesson from him. what an incredible job he did. Chaz, worked with each of us explaining and showing what we were doing wrong and right. fast forwarding a couple of more month have past and the boys strike the ball like they have been playing for years. I have Chaz to thank for this and really look forward to additional lessons from him.
