Sonic Drive-In — Restaurant in Peculiar

This location is an absolute joke. I go there tonight to get an ice cream. Placed an online order and waited 20 minutes for them to come out and hand me a melted ice cream and say “sorry our machines broke”. Really thinking I’m going to accept barely sub-par food after I just dropped $7 on it. It’s not the price that matters it’s the principle they should notify customers of these issues and maybe update the app to indicate issues with their machine. I told them I didn’t want the ice cream and wanted my money back. They informed me that I had to go through the app and I did do that and ended up having to call and be told they couldn’t do a refund and would have to forward this issue to higher up to process refund. Literally right after manager told me I had to go through the app. So here I am, down money AND no ice cream and kinda doubting they will contact me to refund the money. I then have my bag of food slung at me and told not to come back if that’s how I’m going to be. I literally just wanted my money back. I won’t be returning here anymore. I’d much rather make a longer drive elsewhere to get ice cream...

This evening an employee/possibly manager came out and placed a cone in front of my daughter's car. Then another employee came outside and started yelling at my daughter as she was drinking her drink that she just purchased. The employee was harassing her and telling her she had to leave and if she posted pictures on social media (of their inventory boxes that were outside??) he was going to sue her and said he had taken pictures of her license plates. She had not taken any pictures and she inquired why, and he kept saying if she asked another question that he was calling the cops. I went later to inquire about the issue and notify the manager, and she denied that they had an employee that worked there that matched the description that my daughter had described. As we drove around the front and looked inside, the same employee that harassed and threatened my daughter, was working inside. I'm not sure the reasoning of the harassment or the need for the manager to lie about their employee, but we won't be giving this Sonic our...

I swore not to eat here a few years back. The food is either the wrong order, isn't fresh and doesn't taste very good..or makes me feel sick to my stomach after eating it. My kids wanted to eat out today, decided to give this another shot. I hesitated due to my past experiences at this location, but I didn't tell my kids that. I figured it could just be my bad experiences, and hadnt been back here in years. I was hoping the quality had improved since then. The order was not correct, yet again.. My oldest son has been sick most of the night since about 30 minutes after eating here. Could be something else, but when I've had nothing but terrible experiences here for years, it's the last time I'll ever be coming back here. This food is not worth the...
