I can usually find what I need at Theisens.......on my own. When looking for someone to help me....not so much. It's hard to find a worker that seems to care enough about helping me find what I'm looking for. At the checkouts, if I am returning something or have bought "the last of it's kind" item that has no price tag, I tend to feel like a big pain to whoever is checking me out. I had recently purchased forty 40# bags of topsoil. I was happy to have had gotten help with the load and it was put in my truck courteously. (Thanks Franco!) However, last year on Mother's Day, I had purchased two trees to be planted that day. I had handed my receipt and had shown the employee which trees I had purchased and went back into my truck with my small children. Two trees (of lesser value) were placed in my truck. Read moreIcy spot at corner of building by trash can. I picked up a McDonald's bag that was in the parking lot. I put it in the trash and stepped back onto untreated ice. I fell backwards and my head hit the concrete. The humidifier I purchased the day before didn't work. I had planned to return it for an exchange. I entered the store and asked for help explaining my fall. The gentleman that came to help was nice. He asked if I wanted to make an exchange. I felt dizzy and nauseated by then. He refunded my bank card. I sat on a ladder by the check out for a few minutes. I asked him to walk me to my car. I showed him the ice where I fell. He did have ice melt put down. The dripping from the roof continued. I drove 15 miles to my home. PLEASE encourage your employees to show more concern. I had a concussion. Thank you. This happen earlier in the month. Read moreI love shopping here. But one thing occurred to me on my recent visit.
The sizes that the items say they are, aren't actually the size. I'm not sure who's at fault, but it was a little disappointing to go through extra trouble just to get the same outcome.
The service is always beyond 100% However, it's few and far between. There are only so many working it's hard to get assistance. The checkout lines were quite long too due to the fact that the lanes were limited.
I was also hoping that the item that I had seen in-store would be available on their website. Seeing that I live out of state this would be amazing if that were the case. But alas, if you see something that you like while you are there, you best go ahead and get it. Because there is a very good chance that it will not be available in the future or for online purchase.
