I always struggle with purchasing building materials from big box stores vs local building material suppliers. Recently I installed a Everlast roof system. This is a custom order regarding length and color of the panels. You own what you order. Belletetes provided me with the catalog and I in return, provided quantities and product numbers. I ordered the panels and ridge cap first. This was to allow installation, which would determine the specific trim I would need for full coverage over the existing asphalt shingles. To shorten a disappointing story, even though quantities and product numbers were given: incorrect quantities were ordered, only half what I ordered was provided at the warehouse by staff requiring two trips from Barnstead, and when the special orders arrived I was only notified once of the three times orders arrived. I called management and explained that this delayed my business receiving payment for due to a incomplete project that was delayed over a month. Any time you call and the original staff member that processed the order is unavailable, no one else wants to help. The management that tried to pacify the ball being dropped, was sick the day the last of the trim arrived and no one notified me in their absence. At least at the box stores I can help myself. I hope to personally avoid future business interactions like this. To the customer, I am ultimately responsible for vendors I choose to use. I would be surprised if this customer ever uses my services again. I hope this post helps someone else avoid a similar experience. Massive thanks to Tom at Belletetes for going above and beyond to fix countless problems with a cabinet manufacturer (Wolf Cabinetry). Much of the original cabinets were completely unacceptable and Tom made sure that every replacement piece was not damaged and to a good standard. The quality of Wolf was so terrible, multiple replacements had to be requested time and time again, until a decent product arrived. Belletetes handled everything for me. They even went as far as replacing an entire island and coordinating the whole process. I use to avoid this place when it was AB lumber it seems to cater to contractors and they never seemed to want to help the homeowners or do it yourself people I went there looking for sliding door tracks for my barn and was helped by Eric very knowledgeable and helpful the out buildings are a little confusing and it definitely could use better signage or maybe somebody acting as a guide to point you in the right direction. saving time from driving around I am sure if I continue to use this store I will become more familiar with the layout it does seem to...
