Ferazzoli Imports/Genrose/Galleria Stone and Tile supplied and fabricated Honed Black Storm Granite with a Satinstone finish for my kitchen, and it was installed by Paul White Tile in Portland ME. Early on, it became obvious that the countertop was badly scratching and chipping around the sink (see photo) to such a degree that I wondered if it was truly granite. I've had kitchens with honed absolute black granite, polished rosa beta granite and super white quartzite and have never experienced any of these issues. I reached out to Ferazzoli and was told it was normal wear and tear and that there was nothing they could do. I called and emailed and sent photos over a period of months and was totally brushed off (calls were not returned and eventually I was lied to -told that they had reached out to Paul White Tile with a solution). I have never resorted to publishing negative reviews on line regarding any product, but this has been so incredibly disappointing and infuriating that I decided to so so. This is not an installation problem--it's defective...

Decent selection and experience was positive until we ordered through our contractor. I called to see if the tiles were delivered yet, and whether we could accept delivery. I was told and I quote "It's none of your business, talk to your contractor". While we did in fact pay over $10K for the tiles (2 custom bathrooms) through our contractor, the fact is that I'm the customer and it's my (non) returning business they should be after. A simple "I'm very sorry but due to a privacy agreement we have in place with our distributors, we are unable to provide details of orders placed under their account" would have been much better. This of course assumes that's the reason. No reason was ever given, and thankfully our contractor did give us an explanation directly. Do not shop here if you want to give your business to a company who cares about...

Genrose was highly recommended to me in the past. My experience has been terrible. Placed an order for multiple tiles for a bathroom remodel. Was told when they would be ready. Our contractor called to confirm the delivery date and Drew was dismissive and rude. On the date of anticipated delivery they said the tile was back ordered for several more weeks. It actually seems like they never placed the order in the first place. We ended up getting tile elsewhere but did go back to order special trim pieces. Same story. Was told they would order with expedited delivery. Come to find out, that order was never placed. Beyond the failure to actually order the tiles, the experience in the store was lackluster. Drew seemed to be bothered by having to interact with customers. Quite disorganized. Poor attitude toward customer service. Wouldn’t...
