I sit here re-reading all of the reviews after my “spa” experience and I’m wondering how anyone could rave about this place. This was my first experience with any kind of spa treatment, I called to book a couples massage and pedicure. This was supposed to be a surprise for my Boyfriends birthday. The woman on the phone assured me they would not reach out to him in any way so as not to ruin the surprise. The day before, they called HIM to confirm our appointment, completely ruining the surprise. When I called back, almost in tears to express my frustrations all they offered me were their deepest apologies.
When we arrived at the location it was not quite what I would have expected but I kept an open mind. We then walked in to a very small, very cluttered space. We enjoyed our massages which didn’t exactly resemble anything like a “massage” per say and was more like a gentle rub. Moving on to our “pedicures”...I was disappointed by the space entirely. The pedicure area was the size of a closet barely fitting the 4 massage chairs requiring you to inch your way around with almost no space for any belongings you may have brought with you. I then received the worst pedicure of my life. This woman didn’t trim my nails, barely filed them and didn’t even clean under them. She then proceeded to paint my nails without a base coat and left them with see through color and no top coat. At this point I was ready to get out of there.
The only positive thing I have to say about this experience is that the staff was extremely friendly and pleasant but that could not ever hope to make up for the quality of this packaged. I spent $262 (including a 25% tip) for this treatment and I will not be returning or recommending this facility...
Read moreVery nice people. Room with the float tub was way too tiny for it, you could barely move around. There's steps into the shower. Not good for someone with any mobility challenges. Floor is slippery because of the tile. Shower curtain was dirty with orange mildew, and the middle of the shower creaked loudly and was sunken, like it was rotten underneath. The automatic overhead lights are on way too short of a censor and kept turning off in the middle of my 10 minute shower so I had to get out of the shower and flail my arms to turn them back on. Which is crazy. My lash tint was fine but the tech did get the dye in my eyes and it stung so she had to flush them a few times, which I have not experienced at other spas. I (politely) told the staff that the float service wasn't my favorite (just not for me), I wasn't asking for a discount but when they asked I was honest that I didn't like the experience. They then made me wait before I checked out so the owner could talk to me. When she came down, all she did was tell me I needed to try it again to like it. Why would I do that?? I didn't like it the first time! It was weird that they made me wait for the owner before cashing me out, only for her to tell me that. It was an okay experience, but I would not go back and I would not...
Read moreI booked two appointments for the same time for my husband and i (since they aren't doing couples massages currently due to Covid) back in April. no appointments like that until end of June. fine, appointment made. we come in today for our appointments and are told that one of our appointments had been cancelled due to lack of staffing. they said someone had called me and left me a message back in May to let me know and try to reschedule. but looking at my phone, i had never received any phone calls or voicemails. i double checked and they had my phone number correct but obviously someone dialed wrong. really frustrated that they didn't try to call me again or my husband since they had his number as well after getting a text to confirm booking. waited for 2+ months for this appointment just to be disappointed. probably wont be returning for...
