Peninsula Market — Local services in Peninsula Township

We always have looked forward to coming to the market during our stay on the peninsula. I was in the wine section and my mask was below my nose. Instead of simply asking me to put it up, he SCREAMED at me. I was upset. I went to pay for the items and tried to explain that I had a note from my doctor. MORE SCREAMING! Said he didn't want to see the note. Didn't want to hear what I had to say, but was screaming so much, his mask fell below his nose. A simple kind request would have been sufficient.

Screaming sir was unnecessary, though some debate whether it's a violation of state and federal. Discrimination laws, certainly the SCREAMING took it to another level, especially when I showed you my note.

May not be any pizza delivery to the peninsula, but the Market makes a great pizza you can pick up without having to go into town. Bakery goods, like the cookies and things, are DELICIOUS. Smaller selection of groceries than in town, but you can certainly find all of your basics, plus some. Super convenient and really glad to have this store close to home. Another big plus - If you love Buchan's ice cream, the Market carries allot of what they have left at end of season until it's all sold. Great little...

My kids and i were verbally attacked at this market by the male cashier. We stopped to get snakes, the are only 6 and 2- 9 year olds. This man yelled at them, calling them germ spreaders and to get out of his store. He grabbed our snacks off the belt and through them behind him.This was a horrible thing to happen to little people, I got us to the car and called the police to make a report.
