Sophie's Lanes — Local services in Penn Hills

I loved the place. It's small, but clean and stocked. The other patrons were all friendly, same with the staff. I like the BYO policy, the digital jukebox, and they do have vending machines. The only reason I didn't do the 5 is that it doesn't have a snack bar and it's cash only. I wouldn't mind if card payments just came with a fee, but the ATM works. It would be weird toting pizza and beer in, only to see it full. They do great with the space they have. I hope they can expand. It's great having a spot...

This is a hidden gem in Penn Hills. It a very clean and appealing place to bowl. The owner was very kind to open the lanes on his day off for my grandson's birthday party. We all had a great time. Plenty of parking. Reasonable pricing. You will have to look carefully for the place as it is tucked in the left corner of the strip mall in which it is located, and signage isn't great.
