The worst office staff I have ever encountered. I can not use my phone from 4am to 4pm weekdays because of work (I MADE THIS VERY CLEAR) and when they call me from a 4 or 5 digit number (at least thats what shows up on caller Id) during work hours (which I have been very vocal about not being able to use the phone during work) I have no way to know who called me, or to call them back. The first orthopedic appointment I had taken a day off of work for, the doctor literally was not even in the building and they "called me" to let me know. They did not leave a voicemail or any possible way for me to call back and know my appointment was canceled. Very unprofessional. So then I get rescheduled (for a month and a half later which was today) and take another day off of work. I show up today and apparently the doctor I was scheduled to see "doesn't do auto accident related surgeries"... what ?!?!?! 1st off- why was I scheduled with him at all? Oh... I know the answer, the staff here doesn't know what their doing.. but they did try to "call me" 5 days ago (again when I am not able to use the phone) and from what I was told by staff was a "random back office phone" that nobody really answers. This time it was a number I could call back, but when I attempted to call back the missed number (over 10 times) and nobody ever answered what was I supposed to do? If today was scheduled improperly over a month ago why did it take until last week for them to see that? These appointments are usually scheduled far in advance and thats a massive amount of time to lose when your in pain. I've missed 3 days of work for this PATHETIC excuse of medical staff. And have nothing to show for it, no surgery scheduled, I'm still in pain, and I have to start at square one again... this will take me months to resolve. If you go here be warned, doctors wont be there when you need them, they have botched 100% of my scheduling, the numbers they call from are not returnable or if they are returnable numbers nobody answers, the management is not available to resolve issues on the phone or on site, and the staff is totally ignorant as to what doctors are appropriate for your needs are, they will give you appointments for the wrong doctors and cost you very valuable time. I've never been so disappointed with what's supposed to be a professional medical center in my life. They are absolutely terrible. Would give zero...
Read moreI have been here twice in 2 weeks with ailing parents. I have never seen such disrespect for people. These nurses move around at their own slow pace. They almost refuse to acknowledge you and have attitudes. How dare you approach me, or they sigh and reluctantly address the situation. My father's IV, put on by the first responders was falling loose and hurting him. I approached the nurse who sighed and "said let's see what you are talking about". Then he states "it was the fault of the first responders we will put the blame in them". He has been in their care for over an hour. I says, I don't care who's fault it is, please fix it as it is hurting him. These nurses inside the emergency ward have sticks up their $&@$, and think they are unapproachable with the attitude "at my pace sir, when "I am ready". Last week was requesting a nurse to please hurry over to help my mother. She was already slowly approaching as I tried to explain that I need to get to work, as they had told me she would be ready in 20 minutes. It had already been an hour as I would have made alternate arrangements that would not interfered with my livelihood. So as I attempting to get her to move a little quicker, she simply stopped in her tracks and looked at me square in the eyes, as she stood their, stated I am on my way. She just stood there, naturally I shut up and she started moving forward, taking a single step, I opened my mouth, and she stopped again and repeated the same line I am on my way. Now you have to understand I am diagnosed with deeply rooted PTSD and this place comes with all kinds of triggers. This emergency ward lacks respect for it's patients and loved ones. Again today, this nurse sighed as if I had interrupted his casual kickback time while him and the nurse desk lady had a conversation that was not work related, as I did wait patiently while they finished their talk. This place, hands down, full of the most arrogant disrespectful nurses. I know one doesn't have a choice, in an emergency situation, and one would be grateful to have their life saved, but these people aren't saving the lives, these nurses are simply monitoring vitals and administering pills, who gave them this power they...
Read moreI rarely leave negative reviews, but the ongoing issues Iâve experienced with this medical office and with dr. Chockalingham have directly impacted my health and well-being, and I feel itâs important to share.Back in February, I was supposed to be referred to neurology due to frequent and dangerous fainting episodes. Despite repeated assurances, the office failed to send the referral properly for monthsâfrom February through May. Each time I followed up (because they never did), I was told something different: either the referral hadnât been sent, or it had been sent without the necessary medical history. Neurology kept rejecting it because of these errors, and I was the one who had to keep calling both offices to fix it. No one took accountability.
It wasnât until late May that the referral was finally submitted correctlyâthree months lateâand by then, the earliest appointment I could get wasnât until July. Thatâs five months Iâve had to wait to see a neurologist for something that could potentially be life-threatening. Additionally, during an appointment in April, the doctor and I agreed to start me on a medication that required a pre-authorization with my insurance. That form was never submitted. Iâm now in June, and it still hasnât been approved because the office still hasnât done their part.
To make matters worse, I had to cancel my upcoming appointment because no one informed me I needed labs done beforehand. I only found out the day before when someone randomly called to ask if I had completed them. On top of that, I had asked for a telehealth appointment due to my passing out episodesâand only yesterday was told the appointment was scheduled in-person.
I understand that mistakes happen, but this is consistent negligence, and when it comes to peopleâs health, thatâs unacceptable. As a patient, I should not have to constantly follow up to make sure my doctorâs office is doing their job. That burden should never fall on the patient.
This office has caused unnecessary stress, delays in treatment, and has made managing my condition much harder than it needed to be. I hope they take this seriously and make the changes needed, because patients...
