Daily Donuts & Smoothies Boba — Restaurant in Peoria

Discovered Daily Donuts through a search 🔍 on Google Maps. The reviews caught my eye, and since I was in the area I came to try this donut shop. My first impression entering the shop was clean, open and well lighted, but a case with limited options… maybe from the early morning clearing most of the donuts on the shelves as it was about 11:00am. I ordered two dozen and a dozen donut holes to go… the varieties selected were bismarcks filled with red raspberry, blueberry, custard, and lemon — some iced and some rolled in sugar; chocolate long johns; cinnamon rolls; apple fritters; vanilla glazed; coconut; peanut; buttermilk (like crullers and old fashioned); and blueberry. Total charge for everything was just under $40. I thought that was very reasonably priced. Upon reaching work my coworkers were very pleased. I had enjoyed the donut holes, and the lemon bismarck — though I thought they could do better on the lemon curd that was used. The cinnamon (crunch) donut was not very appealing. I’m still very impressed by their donuts… some that they filled before boxing… and the service. Definitely worth visiting if I’m in the area again. I think you’d be pleased as I was. I'm torn. I dislike the lack of a website or current menu and pricing. Don't get me wrong, pricing isn't bad, but it's not up to date. I don't want to talk bad about a family owned place, but I just can't say much else.

First time. Ordered a tuna salad on croissant with tomato, lettuce, onion. It was fresh, well made, could have used salt and pepper and more mayo. But overall, the food was good enough.

However, I was the only person there and it took 15 minutes to make my sandwich. In the meantime, other sandwiches were made for family/ workers while I waited. While questions of specifics of their sandwiches were clarified, but I was not given any option to add cheese, or mustard..

I do not care for the sign above and around the smoothies saying no fresh fruit, no refunds. Sandwich menu was pointed at without any explanation. No explanation about types of available bagels.

Wow. I don't leave reviews really (I usually forget), but I couldn't even finish one donut before rushing to this review. This place is phenomenal and the customer service is outstanding! I'm so glad I took a chance coming here instead of heading the opposite way to Dunkin Donuts. This place runs circles around Dunkin's. The donuts are SO fresh and biting into one of their sprinkle donut was like biting into a little cake. The donut crumbled smoothly in my mouth with each bite and I am just amazed at how good they are! I'm from california, but whenever I come back to visit (every couple of months), I'll be making a stop by this place. Just wonderful. We also ordered their donut holes, which varied in sizes and were great for me and my daughter. I got a cream filled chocolate one for a friend and she said she was so shocked about how good it was and asked me about where I got it from. I'll be raving about this place...
