We went to go see the new movie Imaginary tonight. Everything was going great until a group of teenagers came in. They were talking a little bit during the trailers but right when the movie started they were changing their seats and wouldn’t stop laughing and talking loud (couldn’t even hear the movie). They then started to turn on their phone flashlights. We got up and told management and just wanted our money back and they did reimburse us completely. There were a few other couples that got up and left the same movie too. The manager did go into the theater but I’m not sure if he really did anything to scold them. Why come to the movies and be disrespectful when others are trying to enjoy a movie?!? Why not enforce rules where those who are 17 and under be with an adult? Why not kick the kids out of the movie so people can enjoy it undisturbed? You just lost my business and it sucks cause I do enjoy the theater itself but you don’t really punish those who are unruly and being disrespectful! EDIT AFTER OWNER RESPONSE What a disappointing passive aggressive apology. Maybe if you guys had a backbone and actually removed guests there wouldn’t be issues like this. I guarantee you would not have removed them if I asked and they would have made the rest of the movie experience unpleasant. Don’t worry though, you’ll never get another shot in the future. I only went there because I was gifted a gift card. Any AMC is miles above your...
Read moreI had a decent experience the other day at Willow Knolls...but as I was looking around at the empty lobby, I noticed a very distinct lack of theme. I really felt like the atmosphere could have been elevated by the presence of a mascot - particularly, a rat.
I suggest a rat only because it has worked well for other companies and increased the longevity and iconisism of their business ie) Chuck E. Cheese, Walt Disney Company. I do want to offer some unique suggestions to the rat mascot model that will really stand out compared to past rat mascots. Guests will not be allowed to take photos with the rat. Instead, those visiting will be permitted to take photos as he dashes from theater to theater silently. He will not speak. He will not have a theme song. The only noise indicating his presence will be the frantic SLAPSLAPSLAP of his bare fleshy rat feet.
Once a week, there will be a special presented where the rat mascot will be lubricated with popcorn butter and set loose among the public. The individual who catches the greased rat will receive a prize of 2 free movies passes and a snack special of their choice.
Lastly, I think a charming alliteration should be used for his name such as:
Richard Ratman Rabi Rosenrat Willie the Willow Knolls Whacky Ratman
Sincerely,
An...
