This is a wonderful Friday night buffet spot! Every Friday they have a small buffet featuring a menu of salad, bread and butter, a couple potatoes dishes, a vegetable, red cabbage, and either a German main course, like Schnitzel or ribs and chicken and stroganoff. We love it! It only cost $15. Did I mention they have giant beers $6 and teas $2? They also have a bake sale with pies. There is usually an accordian player offering up some great traditional songs too! This is a very busy place and you seat yourself. Tables are long hall style seating. Remember to bring cash or check. Credit/debit not accepted, but they do have an ATM if you forget.

Interesting place! If you like German food this is the place to go if your in Peoria! Great selection of German Beers on tap. Kind of a family atmosphere with the way tables are set up which is inviting if your wanting to sit with other people and chat. Live according player started at 6 and was pretty good! Got In right after 5 so wasn’t a big crowd but slowly started filling up. Had a buffet with Beef Stew, Red Cabbage, Fried Chicken, Pork Lion, mashed potatoes and gravy and scalloped potatoes. Had salad and pies as well!

I grew up here and have continued to go throughout my life with my family. I’ve become a member and attended various events with my dad and family. The food is amazing. The vibe is family friendly and fun. The live music during dinner is always such a treat. Couldn’t recommend the Lindenhof more! Prost!

Been a few years since I ate here. Just opening after Covid. Invited out to eat by my daughter and her husband. Very busy and you only get 1 1/2 to eat. Can only done by appointment. Was delicious as I remember it from years ago. Very popular by locals. Had a craving for some of their delicious buffet food tonight and drove out. Place was super busy, but got right in and seated myself. 14 dollars for all I could eat of the Beef stroganoff, Gypsy Schnitzel, Mashed and red potato wedges, Red cabbage, Sauerkraut, Potato salad, Salad, Bread and butter, etc. Drinks and dessert are separate. One man accordion player band playing all the favorite Christmas songs by the Christmas tree. Doesn't get any better!! Different buffet every Friday evening.

Still love going on here on Friday nights to eat from time to time. People are very friendly...

One of the most unique German restaurants in the nation from what I’ve seen. The interior is much like an old German lodge, and there are communal tables set up to eat at. The food is extremely flavorful traditional German food with a menu that changes weekly; all very German. Meat choices often include very flavorful schnitzel, pork wings, stroganoff, and other German favorites. Side staples are mashed potatoes, brown gravy, spätzle, red cabbage, vegetables, and salad with rye bread and butter. Desserts are substantial servings of pie for a slight extra cost. All for a very reasonable price for an all you can eat buffet. Usually there is traditional German music performers during the meal for entertainment. The whole place has the atmosphere of family and community, and is centered...

First time here and it wasn't for me. The Friday night buffet was chaotic at best. We came for a German meal and found fried chicken. Well, other people did. I didn't get any because of the free-for-all and the kitchen couldn't keep up. So, I paid 15 plus tip for a German meal and got a live accordion concert instead. Went and got Wendy's afterwards because I didn't get any food. However, if you like being uncomfortably close to strangers and you enjoy them bumping into you this is the place for you. If you enjoy a rude and pushy employee, again, this is the place for you. I believe they have nothing there worth returning for but, all of that said, please give this place a try. It wasn't for me but a lot of people seemed...
