Terrible new management. Customer service is nothing like what it used to be ever since Nate left after New Years. Ran by a bunch of rude young women now. I work nearby and visit very frequently on my lunch break. Nate would greet us upon entry, never let our drink get below half before coming and checking to see if we needed a refill and allow us to have a free fountain drink to return to work with. I’ve been back 3 times since New Years and have not received a greeting not one time when walking in but will witness them greet other people that walk in. I’m charged for drinks now which isn’t an huge deal to me but they still have attitudes when placing food or drink orders. I will finish my drink and 10 minutes will go by before I had to ask for a refill instead of the waitress coming and checking on me to see if I needed one. And when I asked for the refill, the waitress said okay and proceeded to make me wait while she cleaned off a used table first. It’s not just one of the lady’s I’ve had a bad experience with a new lady each time. To be a regular and treated like this is bad business and definitely will keep me and my coworkers from spending my money...

We noticed the lady working in the kitchen was in a bad mood. Constant bickering. We ordered food and when the bartender put our order in I heard "welcome to chuck e cheese!" sarcastically from the kitchen. Almost paid for my drinks and walked out at this point but my wife said no so, we stayed. Lady in the kitchen was obnoxiously singing and whistling like she was angry. Periodically she would walk by and go to another room to get supplies. Wouldn't make eye contact or anything as she stomped by. Food came out and everything was fantastic. I'll probably never come here again because of that cook but if you don't have kids with you it'll probably be a positive experience. The bartender/server with the redish hair was phenomenal and attentive. Give him a raise and get rid of the...
Read moreIt's a typical bar. Don't go here for craft beers or tap or a fancy cocktail. No, you go here for a right and ready blue-collar, Midwest gun-slinging, 2pm-regulars bottled beer like PBR or Corona Extra. Expect folks to be playing darts and that the annoying gaming machines in the corner will keep up a steady trill of addictive delight. And while you are sitting there with your pal Arthur, enjoying your proletariat ales, don't forget to tip your bartender. It's a decent human action in small-town America (and trust me, when you're in this establishment, you forget that you're in Peoria, with the plaid shirts and grunge white-man overalls and homey atmosphere of a non-polished...
