Habitat is on our weekly treasure hunt. Two months ago we bought a thousand dollar Bosch 40 SONE dishwasher for $40.00. Works perfectly, yet sometimes I do miss the swish swish sound of the waves at bedtime. My old dishwasher so reminded me of the islands. Slept like a baby. Now I hear every creaky groan of the house when the Santa Anna winds come a howling.

Saturday we found an 1893 Henry F Miller piano for sale at $4,000.00! Four years ago, that piano sold at a local Scottsdale antique store for over $22,000.00. The movers marred up the right rear corner. Something any good cabinet maker can repair for a few Benjamins. I'm sure the first Grand will take it home. This is an heirloom piece. One of a kind addition to any livingroom.

I was disappointed. This location is better than the one in west Phoenix, but still mediocre at best. I was excited to see this city had four Restores when I moved here a year ago. Now there are only three, but still it doesn’t make a difference. With multiple stores, one would think they would pull together all of one thing and sell at one store. For example cabinet hinges, door levers/knobs, sconce pairs, etc. Sales are definitely lost if one has to hope they can find more at another store and take the time to trek around town doing it. Also, please put prices on everything or a container with everything in them priced per piece. Trying to find someone to ask what the price is on a motion sensor or pull chain switch is just...

This home improvement thrift store has completely changed their price$ also the items for sale are a little different. I haven't been to H4H for a about a year I would say but let me say thank you for the low prices! I used to think it was too expensive for used/new items. You can definitely donate home goods along with home improvement items at this location because I found shows for $2! You can purchase a cold bottle of water for 50 cents! I noticed the (like new) furniture is so cheap too! And the workers were knowledgeable about items for sale and very friendly and talkative! I would rate H4H 5 stars and highly...
