Omgawshhhh what an experience y'all!! 🤗💇🏼‍♀️💆🏼‍♀️💃🏼🔥👏🥰🙌🙏🤝👑💖💫💎🕊 When I tell you only 3 people have ever touched my hair (my crown) in this life and taking a leap of faith (literally) to find a place that mirrors my values and honors their people for who they are not just another head to service, to do my hair for the first time, color & cut....say whuuu!?! 👀👀 I was excitedly nervous lol and the results well....let's just say #slayalldayokay 💃🏼🙌😎 and walking fabulous in my Godfidence because Jessica fixed my crown okurrrr! 👑😜 The entire staff is amazing, welcoming, wholeheartedly open to the best customer service andddd they provide a space to write down prayer requests!? You already had me at the aura and the scent of the place and then seeing that! Wow! Sold! Sign me up and won't He do it!! But God! Are you looking for a safe place for hair and to have that crown shine again!?! If so, hunnayyy Brovada is the hair gem 💎 I didn't know existed & I'm locked in now!! I was looking for a new salon in Toledo following a move to the area and this was the first I tried. The salon is clean and pretty and everyone was very nice. However, my hair color did not turn out the way I wanted- in fact, 3 days after my appointment, my roots were already showing clearly through (I have blonde highlights). Further, despite my telling the stylist 3-4 times that my hair did not do well with large amounts of product, she used so much product on it while styling that my hair was clumped together in greasy strands. I drove home from the salon and immediately showered all the product out of my hair because it felt so disgusting. I wish I had taken a picture as proof but it was so disgusting and looked so horrible I just wanted it to go away. The most frustrating part of the experience was the salesmanship. My stylist spend 99% of the appointment trying to get me to buy their products. I told her several times that I was happy with my current hair products but it just kept coming. Needless to say, I will not be returning. My hair color has not lasted, I left the salon with the most disgusting feeling hair of my life and I do not enjoy getting products I do not want to buy shoved down my throat...

Don’t come here for any advanced haircut such as layers, face framing, etc. They have no idea What they are doing. Received a haircut from here a few weeks ago and it looked like a 4th grader pretending to be a barber cut my hair.

I know you’re thinking “it’s just one bad review so I’ll discount it” but buyers beware, they might take off 5 inches of your hair in the sloppiest blunt cut you’ve ever seen. Making you look like a discount version of Willy wonka. I don’t know if it’s out of malice that they’ve done this, or if they’re really just that unskilled. But I would suggest they rebrand from a “luxury salon” to “off brand great clips” at any rate. Seriously, it’s telling that this salon can’t cut something as simple as layers (and no. Layers are not uneven straight edged stair steps like this salon apparently believes) yet still offers hair cutting as a service. Why don’t you just drop it entirely and focus on fry-bleaching hair which you are atleast semi good at, and leave actual hair cutting to professionals?

I atleast salvaged it by going elsewhere to fix What they’ve done. But seriously, this salon is found...
