Twisty Treat — Restaurant in Perrysburg

My eldest son and I chose to stop in for a milkshake the day I was able to return home after just over 2 months in Hospice Care. I was not supposed to make it more than 10 days maximumso as soon as I noticed you were open I told my son that if he pulled in the shakes were on me! We got to the window and we were met with smiling faces and hellos! The girls working there are truly the kind of people that make those smiles contagious! They took my sons order as I looked at the menu and found what I was looking for, the only issue was that the combination for it really was not to my liking so I asked if I could change it up and make it with Green Apple instead...after a minute of conversing they said “Sure! We can do that for you!”...I was happy to hear that of course! When they finished it and handed it to meI was utterly blown away with that first sip!!!after that, no matter if it was raining or 90+degrees out, my son would pick me up at least 3 times a week for a shake until sadly you closed for the season! I recommend this place VERY VERY HIGHLY and am a lifelong customer forever more!!! Y’all can forget that OTHER place on the corner;-). Thanks for everything, God Bless and see y’all...

This is a GREAT little ice cream place!! We used to go to Mr.Freeze,(too crowded) then tried a self serve place by Churchill's (questionable cleanliness!) So we remembered Twisty Treat and decided to try it. What a pleasant surprise!! Hubby had a choc/vanilla twist- Very good! I had a turtle sundae- was probably the BEST I have gotten, ever! The ice cream is quality, the nuts are fresh, as is the whipped cream. She did not skimp on the nuts- which most places do! This is our new "go-to" for our evening/week-end ice...

Nothing against the young people people that work there, but the owners of twisty treats need to visit chitter chatter on the corner of Albon and Airport Highway and look at their business model. Twisty treats four people ahead of you takes 20 minutes to get your ice cream or food! Chitter Chatter 30 people in front you have your ice cream or food...
