I took my car out to VW to get a oil change. However they came to me saying they are not going to let me drive my car. I didn't know how my car looked until they showed me, a few years ago I took my car to a shop to get my front of my car fixed. I paid over 2grand. Those mechanics didn't fix anything, but they did take my money. So in all I thank VW for looking out for my safety.
I asked for a loaner car, and I was given one, I had an appointment to go to my bank to get a loan, I couldn't make it to my appointment because VW wanted their car back. VW made me fell very uncomfortable because they didn't trust (a African American woman) me with their car. I was told that the manager wanted the car back ASAP... AS FOR MY LOAN APPOINTMENT, I HAD TO CANCEL IT. If Volkswagen doesn't like African Americans then you probably need to put up a sign up saying that 1. You don't trust black people. 2. Tell us to go where we would be treated right. 3. when i did have the car I only went to wal-mart and i was home.
When I got the loaner car I can since that the person didn't want me to have the car and he made sure to get it back within two and a half days. I am a Christian I have no warrants. I stay in a good area. I'm not a bad person. I don't drink I'm a homebody. I have cancer Myeloma Bone cancer. Just know that I am A VERY GOOD PERSON. I help families with food. I'll be volunteering this December giving out new coats and food baskets at my cousins church. (I been volunteering for 6yrs). I cant help that i am an AFRICAN AMERICAN WOMAN. Much as i want to come back out there , I will not because of how I was treated with having a loaner car. Not to mention that when I did have it, they made sure to call me for those two and a half days. And yes that made me very mad and upset. To be treated like they dont trust me and i know why, me being black. Would i recommend for blacks to go there would be a HUGE NO.
Hey all as I had to barrow money and missed my loan appointment at the bank. I got a call from the sales department at Volkswagen. This gentleman told me that they wanted to come pick up my car so they can fix it, I asked the guy was he serious. His reply was yes. So now I'm overwhelmed with joy, because I know this is God's doing. The original bill to fix my car was over ten grand, and it's a 2009 Volkswagen Jetta. I don't have no money to buy me another car. Last year I found out that I have myeloma bone cancer. The doctor took me off work, I was a nurse at a hospital. So my income dropped. And I'm still off work ugh. I talked to God and told him that I can't lose my car because I have cancer appointment to get to and to keep. I got frustrated, I cried, I couldn't sleep, I was very frustrated. Volkswagen was only to fix two parts on my car. He called with good news and told me that their gonna fix everything on my car. I said omg and thank you Jesus. I truly know that God put it in their heart to fix my car. I am a true Christian and I love God with all my heart.
In all I truly appreciate Volkswagen for blessing me, they just don't know of all the appointments cancer appointment, bone appointment, drawing blood every month. Picking up scripts. These appointment have me busy and to ask someone to take me is a headache.
I stayed in contact with Brandon in the sales department about my car. He was very understanding and kind. He answered all my questions that I asked him. I appreciate you Brandon.
Volkswagen my heart is filled with pure joy and tears because I do not have to stress and worry about my health.
Thanks again Volkswagen and may God bless...
Read moreWas pleasantly surprised for such a large dealership I had some of the best treatment respect as well as open dialog and a feeling of Getting the most out of my money.
My salesperson Stephanie was fantastic to work with She remembered details about me as a person Immediately responded when I had a question She went out of her way to give me a 360 degree demo as well as REMOTE test drive with myself in Columbus.
When she continued to drive drive drive I knew that I had a great car I suggested that I've seen enough and I'm ready to make a commitment.
Stephanie was the type of salesperson that she would let you know everything about the vehicle whether it was a positive or a negative aspect of it she gave you all the details She did not hammer you with a bunch of BS about what a wonderful fantastic car this is I can see you driving it, She did not insult my intelligence Stephanie was a real person and you can tell that she enjoyed the company that she worked for. Another reason why I was dealing with the right dealership
I was in negotiation with a Jaguar XF and the price was just outside My loan approval. I was requested to Add to my down payment buy $1000. I am a man of negotiation It says a lot about the person you're dealing with when you can negotiate with them I asked to meet me halfway And add it to my down payment by $500. When the management accepts negotiation whether they approve it or not is a good sign of working with real people.
Stephanie did not run back and forth My manager will do this for you if you can meet this number back and forth back and forth such an insult of my intelligence She was a real person and treated me with respect up front we had agreed upon the terms within the first 30 minutes with no haggling and skipped the BS.
I picked up the vehicle the following day It was completely detailed All the fluids were flushed brand new brakes brand new rotors brand new tires and most important a full tank of gas For my trip back to Columbus.
Upon my arrival to signing the documents and putting the temporary tag on the vehicle it took no more than 15 to 20 minutes I couldn't wait to get in the vehicle and drive it to Columbus But I had to thank Stephanie for her wonderful salesmanship Her attention to detail the courteous response you could see she was anxious because she loved what she was doing That's the salesperson that you want.
In my mind Stephanie through and through is a quality salesperson and a remarkable human being the way she handled the sale from start to finish perhaps someday she will be the manager, in the meantime I have no doubt that she will continue to serve folks looking for a new or used vehicle . Her excitement was contagious.
One last thing This was the only dealership that didn't haggle me to use their finance when I told them that I was prequalified through my bank This dealership did not set me down and asked me to consider their financial options and I respect that I'm not stupid I know they offer financial Assistance through lending If I wanted their finance I would have called ahead of time.
Perrysburg Auto Mall is not a buy here pay here It is not a we're dealing Each response they give me it had my name not Dear Customer Highly recommend Perrysburg Auto Mall No one's perfect But I'm 61 years old and I've bought many cars and this was the most amicable experience Pleasant I even felt excited not regret when I hopped in my new vehicle Good luck to Stephanie Keep up the...
Read moreSpoke with Brian at the Volkswagen dealership regarding a used 2012 Toyota Camry Hybrid LE that was for sale. I was interested in the car, however as they handed me information and I looked over it, I had some concerns regarding it's three accident reports listed. I noticed there were a plethora of dings, dents, scratches all around the trim, the rear end of the vehicle, and beyond that, it looked like the front passenger corner of the bumper was sagging because they did not correctly install the bumper when they worked on it from one of the accidents. Not to mention, a rear passenger door window had a long hairline crack going from left to right that needed to be replaced.
As I mentioned this with Brian, his tone immediately changed and he even began glossing over the concerns brought up in the CarFax regarding two of the reports in the CarFax history. Once I asked if I was able to negotiate on the price being all these faults existed, and I was well aware that purchasing a hybrid at over 100K miles meant it was going to be due for a pricey hybrid battery replacement costing a couple thousand alone. Brian instantly chimed that "Management won't let us negotiate the price, it's a policy" and it quickly became obvious that he was onboard with this policy as well as I spoke with him more.
As I contested that the vehicle is considerably overpriced given it's collision history, it's upcoming battery replacement, and several cosmetic faults given consideration; Brian immediately retorted "Well you don't go to Kroger and haggle with them for a can of beans, do you?" and I was instantly hit this realization that this man, who dares calls himself a salesperson, is equating himself to cashier at a grocery store that sells these so called "beans" as open, half-eaten, and nearing it's expiration date. I have never been so appalled at the way he tried to defend overpricing a used hybrid, and make me out to be some sort of degenerate for bringing up the simple fact that it was flawed, as most used cars are. He then tried to assert that "Oh, well you don't know how much we paid for it" as if it was my concern that the salesperson who took it in on trade (likely himself) over valued it without clearly understanding the service needs of a hybrid battery later in it's lifespan.
Oh, but don't worry, Brian quipped "We sell 120 cars a month" as I handed back the paperwork and keys, after he told me "Someone will buy it at full price." as if I was supposed to be reassured about their business. No Brian, I truly don't care how many overpriced cars your dealership sells, I care more about the fact that you sold them by deceiving, and misrepresenting the vehicles to people and you should be ashamed...
