If I could leave ZERO stars, my review would be more accurate. DO NOT look to this business for massage services. The owner, Lisa, is rude, arrogant, and cares only about making money for her "small business." The massage therapist, Jen, is mediocre, at best. A few years ago, my husband purchased a massage for me. It was supposed to be a DEEP TISSUE massage. The lack of pressure barely made it feel like a Swedish massage. Fast forward to October 2024: My husband PRE-PAID for a massage for me for my birthday. I didn't have the heart to tell him the first time that the massage was not that great, but his time around, I was honest and told him I wanted to cancel the massage. The massage was cancelled well within 48 hours. The lady on the phone said that she could not refund me. She said that she would have Lisa (the owner) call me to discuss my options. Lisa never called. I called back the next day and spoke to her on the phone. I explained that the massage was canceled well within the time frame, and that services were never rendered. She literally said that as a "small business owner, I need to make money." She said that the $220 could be used as a future credit at her store. We disputed it with my husband's bank, and we filed a complain with the Better Business Bureau. Lisa REFUSED to speak to the BBB, and ignored the complain filed against the business. The website refund policy is NOT clear. On the website, it says, "With respect to our providers, cancellations for personal services, including massage and energy healing, must be received a minimum of 48 hours prior to the start of the service to avoid being charged for the service." I have a screenshot of their cancellation policies on their website. You will see that what they list as NONREFUNDABLE, are the salt cave sessions, monthly classes and events, and the private groups. Clearly stated above that is that if massages are canceled within 48 hours then all charges are avoided." SO, even though services were not rendered AND canceled well within the time frame, Lisa refused to refund us, took $220 for services NEVER PROVIDED or RECEIVED, for the reason that she stated: "I need to make money as a small business." DO NOT go to this business for a massage, or expect to receive any type of good customer service. DO NOT register for a massage with JEN. Save yourself the trouble, and schedule a massage at a place that specializes in these services. What does it say about a business owner who will not make things right with a customer, in order to maintain their credibility and support within the community. Additionally, what does it say about a business owner that REFUSES to acknowledge the BBB when they reach out?

I went with my mother on July 28, 2022. I was not really sure what to expect but went with an open mind. My father had just passed away on July 1st so we both were hoping that our session would help relax, heal and rejuvenate our broken hearts. (If not at least we would get 45 minutes of sleep-😊). The atmosphere inside the cave is very calming and soothing. We laid in recliners with blankets on top of us to keep warm. My mom fell right to sleep.😴 I soaked in the atmosphere and breathed in the salts. I "think" I fell asleep because next think I knew someone was hitting a Gong chime. That night I went to bed and had a great nights sleep. I woke up feeling refreshed like I slept 20 hours. I felt wonderful! When I go back home, I am going to try our Salt Mine Caves since this experience was so great. 😊

I love this store. Beautiful quality crystals and jewelry. Stopped in after walking the trail just to browse with my son who had never been there. The owner was kind enough to let him inside the salt cave to see it and gave a history of how it was built. She sensed he was a bit apprehensive in there and offered a little tester time for us to experience it. I was shopping a bit after closing time and she was patient and didn't kick me out. I've always had good experiences there and will be back. There is a kitty mascot Tiko there who is friendly and accepts pets. I've attached a picture of today's purchase, a citrine bracelet and a moonstone ring. Very unique jewelry. And a picture of a foot salt lamp that i bought a previous time.

We absolutely loved our visit to Salt of the Earth. I brought my daughter not really knowing what to expect, and what a surprise it was to walk into that salt cave, a stunning space that instantly transports you. The 45 minutes inside were nothing short of magical. Watching the water first form into delicate bubble-like drops before flowing down is what triggered my shift into a deep flow state. The soothing sounds, the stillness, and the atmosphere led me into a half-dreaming space. I could literally feel a subtle electric energy moving through my feet. It was profound.

Afterward, we explored the shop and picked up a few amazing products, including food-grade Himalayan salt and a sage energy cleanser I had been searching for.

But what truly elevated the experience was our host, Sandra. From the moment we arrived, we felt completely in tune with her. Sandra is a deeply evolved soul, and the care, warmth, and energy she shared made this more than just a wellness stop. It was a true connection.

We are so grateful for this experience and already can’t wait to return. As New Yorkers, we’re still marveling at how underrated this city is, but not for long. Salt of the Earth is a gem in every sense...

I recently went to Salt of the Earth for my very first massage (ever!) It was a wonderful experience. Jennifer, the massage therapist, was so kind, calming and professional. She walked me through the whole process and even took the time to ask me about my health and what areas I'd like to focus on. The hot stone massage was my favorite part! I look forward to going back again.

Lisa the shop owner was there as well. She was so friendly and enthusiastic about the locally made products and the salt cave. She's very knowledgeable about all of the stones in the store.

The store is very beautiful and clean. The salt cave - Wow! Absolutely stunning. You can tell they put a lot of working into creating a tranquil environment.

If you're looking for a place to practice some mindfulness, I'd really recommend checking out the salt cave. Highly recommend getting a massage as well. I'll certainly be back to check out some of their beautiful...
