I LOVE Starbucks. I get Starbucks every single day, I am a loyal customer. I always either use a debit card to pay or cash. if I use cash I always try to have smaller bills, but sometimes I get paid from my job with 100 dollar bills. So at this McMurray location I ordered a large coffee and food this morning, and when I got to the window to pay I handed the guy my 100 dollar bill and he rolled his eyes at me while taking the 100 and was like "really a 100" and like turned around to talk to 2 employees and one lady with purple hair was like "just say no". I felt so uncomfortable sitting there this guy at the window was acting beyond annoyed at me. I was appalled at the way they were handling this, the guy at the window hands me back my 100 and was like " there's nothing else i can do". Then, they didn't give me my drink or food!!!!! I just had to leave!!!! I go there every single day and I literally had money, and they wouldn't give me my drink??? When you are at the window you know that they already pretty much have your drink made with your name on it, so i guess they just threw it away. Ridiculous. Dunkin will always break a 100 even if it's a 3 dollar coffee any other restaurant or store does it's only this store that has an issue. they are STARBUCKS they are able to break a 100, and even if they couldn't the guy didn't need to be rude and roll his eyes, and they could've given me my drink still. The lady behind him with purple hair is always so rude every time I go all my friends agree too, she's miserable and makes you feel like you did something wrong every single time. Just really upsetting because I am a great customer and they treat me like this. so I went to the Starbucks on 19 and they broke my 100 no problem and the employees were actually nice. Every time I go to this Mcmurray location I just get nervous to even see these employees and that is ridiculous. Someone needs to talk to them or fire them or fix the situation...
Read moreI’m a big fan of predictive behavior. I normally tip for coffee until one day, I didn’t at this location. When noticing I didn’t tip, the cashiers personality became noticeably frosty. Big surprise that my coffee was barely drinkable. So my next visit, I tipped. Cashier was pleasant, my drink was great. So back and forth I went with my little experiment, which produced the same results. My issue? Tipping. I don’t mind tipping for great service. By I DO mind having to tip to ensure I get a drink that is drinkable. Starbucks barista pay averages around $14/hr here. It is starting to get ridiculous that everywhere you go anymore tips are an expectation. If you don’t like the pay, complain to corporate. Don’t punish the customers for not supplementing your pay, which is already pretty decent for making and serving coffee. You are getting paid an hourly wage to do your job, not counting tips from just about every other customer who feels obligated in todays tipping culture. The attitude when not tipped, certainly does not make me want to tip again, even if the drink is actually drinkable. Thanks again for the sugar free vanilla in my caramel macchiato that I did not ask for. Hope more customers feel free to to stop tipping on already over priced drinks. Mr. Conway would be so proud. Want to tip someone? Try a cashier at a grocery store and see someone who truly appreciates it and the unexpectant JOY it brings from someone who is also just doing their job without the...
Read moreCan they please be smart enough to put a sign saying DO NOT BLOCK the drive thru near the drive thru? There is a sign in the front right of the building saying don’t block the drive thru, the drive thru is in the back left of the building - can someone make it make sense? Anyone? How is signage in the front right of the building supposed to address a lane blockage problem in the back left of the building? Anyway thank you Starbucks for inconveniencing everyone who needs to use the second lane to go to the bank drive thru. Thank you Starbucks for being so self centered that you could care less about others and refuse to put up a sign near the drive thru.thank you Starbucks for making a task like going to the atm infuriating because I have to sit and wait for someone to get an order of coffee because the sign telling them to not block the passing lane is no where near where the problem is. The message Starbucks is sending by not bothering to put up a sign is they are crap corporate citizens...
