Westgate Square — Local services in Petersburg

The day before a snow/ice storm, they had water, bread, and milk! Yep, I was shocked. I only got water, but I know those things go first. I did all of my regular weekly grocery shopping the morning before the storm hit and was shocked that they had relatively stocked shelves. The girl at the checkout was rude and unfriendly. She told me she was too busy to say hello because she had a line full of people and the store was busy. Like I really wanted to be there either. She wouldn't have a job if there weren't customers there shopping so the store could pay her salary. Talk about biting the hands that feed you! My stars are for the stocked store and not for the customer service that is severely lacking...

Pretty clean, very busy in the afternoon. I see hit and runs, a couple solicitors and bums once in a while, but still not a bad spot. Good Location. The Food Lion is a busy one, the ABC store is too sometimes, and the Hong Kong restaurant is cash only, so be prepared. Theres a dry cleaner, a drug store, a nail salon and a Pizza Hut there also, but I don't frequent those as much, so no opinion there. Theres also an ATM in the parking lot. Its a locals spot, so you always see...

Most people have reviewed the Food Lion or ABC store rather than the shopping center Westgate Square as this Google review is for.
