WOW I stayed there for a golf trip and all was GREAT until i left my golf clubs there over night. The next morning when our group got there for our early morning golf everything was loaded and ready to go. I headed to the putting green to take a few practice putts and then it was time to head to the 1st tee box. Thats when things went wrong. When we drove off my bag was not strapped down and my clubs fell off the cart with my new Labb Mezz putter getting all kinds of road rash on it. When i went to discuss the issue the bag guys said i needed to talk to the head pro so i went to show him my issue. WOW what an errant guy he is. He asked me why the putter cover was not on it. I said i was heading to play and did not need it on and he said well you should have covered it I would have if that was mine. I asked why an experienced bag guy would not have tied it down correctly and he said if the cover had been put on after your practice all would’ve been ok. Really that’s all you have is sorry not our fault you should have had the cover on it. If you know a Labb broomstick putter it is $650 dollars and is taller than your driver so it wont get damaged in your bag since it’s taller than all your other clubs. This made me so mad that he did not even offer up something small for the rash left over my putter face. Stay away from this place as they do not care about customer satisfaction at all. !!!!!!!!!!! I was asked by the owner to give the course and who made the trip reservations to the best of my knowledge we played the Alpine twice and I played the monument once it was set up by either Tom or Nick Walentowski. I hope the spelling is correct last September. As you can see I let them know where I played and with who and still my return emails. Just trying to blow me off and go away. Not a good place to visit. Stay away they don’t care about you just...
Read more9/10 update. Casey, the head pro at Boyne Mountain called and was very apologetic for the experience I had as well as the delay in calling . There was a mix-up with the phone number. We had a good conversation and they are taking care of the situation for me. As I stated I think this is a wonderful course and am looking forward to showing it to my wife, family and friends in the future. I thought it was only fair to give an update.
8/30/20 Last weekend was a huge disappointment. Have always enjoyed playing the Boyne courses immensely. Played the Monument solo on Sunday and my wife rode along to see the course. She was anxious to see it since I have always talked highly of the aesthetics. They were very busy but had an open time at 4:40. They told me the carts were not fully charged and I could use the driving range for a while while they let one charge. There were no open slots on the range. They sent me out with one not fully charged but said I could get to the turn and then exchange for one charged up. By 5th hole we were pushing it up hills. I tried calling the club house with no answer. Tracked down beer cart person and she said she was going to the front and would tell them. No response. It started raining at 8th hole and that was the final straw. Drove to club house. Pro shop was closed. Left a message the next day for them to call. Have had no response from them. Very disappointed. Going back in October. If they don’t have the courtesy to even call to apologize, I will play elsewhere. Unfortunate because we go to Boyne several times a year and the course is terrific. The cart staff was great in spite of being overwhelmed. Lucas did his best to accommodate us at first and apologize afterward for the course. The pro... obviously...
