I can't recommend UMAR enough. We bought a house and were upset to see the state the sellers left the walls in. I called Omar, and he met me at the house to give us a quote and bought the paint at the store the same day so he could get started right away. His flexibility and responsiveness were a huge relief since we didn't expect to need painters at all, let alone for a massive 2-day project.

In addition to being responsive, he was an absolute professional in making sure we were satisfied with his work from the moment we hired him. All we knew was we wanted some shade of white, so he sent us pictures of all our options at the store to compare and pick the one we liked. He was patient, which helped us be confident we would like the color before it was on our walls.

They did a fantastic job painting the walls and accommodating the chaotic workplace they had to work in. The entire time Omar and his crew were absolute professionals while working around movers, security installers, and a sometimes overly friendly dog over the 2-day job.

After the job was done, Omar personally walked with us through the house and touched up anything we were even slightly unsure about. He went above and beyond at every turn -- he stayed a few extra hours after he was supposed to be done to make sure one wall had another coat because it wasn't up to his high standards. Our house ended up being a long and tough job, and they tackled it like pros.

I've never had to hire painters, but I am so glad we found UMAR, and we won't hesitate to call them again if we ever need...

Umar Painting is the most unprofessional team of uncouth and amature painters. Umar came to our house and gave us a quote, asked us to mark all areas of imperfection, promising he would spackle and and tape etc. and incorporate at least 70-80% of things to be corrected. He and his team of novice painters came in for 5 days to paint the house and left so many areas unprofessionally done (can see spots of only single coat), there was paint all over our laminate flooring, bathroom sink had paint all over. When we confronted the team (evidently he ran away on last day when it came to completion), he put forward the sweetest talker in his team (Denver). Denver acknowledged that the team was novice and he joined Umar's team simply because their guys messed up. He promised that once payment is made, within 2-3 days he would personally come and fix all issues. He took all pictures to showcase that he was intending to come and fix those. That was the last i heard from Denver and Umar. The unprofessional thugs did not bother responding to my calls or text messages. They then asked a middleman Dave to talk to us. He was trying to strike a deal where-in we would have to pay for Denver's time and for gas money to travel to our place while Dave would fix the handman type of jobs for free.... Evidently and as expected, Dave also stopped taking our calls and responding to our messages.

This company is FRAUD! Never ever trust these bunch of novice painters to paint any portion...

We hired Omar to paint a home we were remodeling for an elderly woman in East Lansdowne. We were doing demo, carpet removal, framing, new ceilings on the 1st floor, installing fixtures, etc. Let’s just say after all of that we were in no mood to paint. When we called Omar he came out with samples for the client, offered a reasonable price (which she accepted), and told us he could have it done in 1 day. I was sure it would be at least a 2 to 3 day process. When he text me “its done” the following afternoon I was surprised. When our client called me and joyously said “it looks like a new house” I knew it was true. We showed up to the house the next morning, not a drop of paint on the newly finished floors.
