This store has a lot going for it but much that needs to be addressed. Prices are so high that produce and meats are sitting too long and often in an overripe or beginning to turn situation. Lowering prices or reducing stock would help curb waste.

It would be better to break even on something than to add the waste factor to the cost of the goods that are sold.

Once a mango goes rotten you can't do anything with it however, you could reduce price of aging mangos and sell them, help feed the Community for less,build good will amongst the patronage of the market. Or you can let them over ripen and pass the cost of the waste onto your customers which is what i believe is happening now.

Don't try to return anything that you buy there, I bought a package of 9 or 12 mini cupcakes from the freezer case.

I went home and immediateLy removed 3 of them for a snack. They thawed but the cake had a weird taste and was was rock hard. I went back to store with the product and the receipt minus the 3 little cupcakes I tried to eat.

I was asking for an exchange and was told no by the manager because it was short 3 cupcakes. I said ok, I calculated the cost per cupcake and subtracted that from total cost of the package.

I asked for a refund.of the remaining bad cupcakes and was denied and told to come back to speak with owner.

Feeling absolutely ridiculous that I had been embarrassed in front of the store by the manager I walked home and tossed the cupcakes and have not purchased them again.

I also patronize the brand-new market that is closer. I had a legitimate complaint for a product I did not do anything to cause it to taste bad or get hard.

The management made a poor choice and lost a lot of business. from myself and people I know that no longer go there all over 1 box of cupcakes.

I would buy one a day for a couple weeks prior to this incident and I would still be buying them today if they did the...

This place always sells EXPIRED products and never has fresh fruit or vegetables. The corn I bought did not look like this on the outside but once taken out and flipped over a huge piece of chunk of corn is missing and old. 😩There staff also is weird and wouldn’t give my daughter a refund/exchange for a product even though it says on the receipt you can do a refund if you have receipt😩😂she surely gave it when I threatened to speak to the manager while on speaker phone lol. Excellent little corner store! Calling it little is an understatement, this place is huge! A lot bigger on the inside than it looks on the outside. They had so much more to offer than I was prepared for, I felt like I had been missing out my whole life by never coming here before today!
