Dear James(owner) My overall experience was nightmare! I rented a full size car from here about a week ago. My two children and I had to wait for an extended period of time prior to shuttle arriving. Once I got there the representative I spoke to initially about my rental âAmyâ I believeâŚwas extremely unprofessional. The car she gave me, had a bumper popped out of place. I informed her I was uncomfortable paying/taking a car with that type of damage. At that point she stated âitâs ok we video all of the cars for scratches so you wonât be held liable.â When I declined, she offered me another vehicle which was filthy. At that point she stated that I can take the original car she offered me with the bumper damage.
I invited her to take a look at it, because it was beyond a scratch. She got up stomped around the facility and slammed the door to go outside. Only to come back and state âwell you can just take your money back.â I was well aware of that âAmyâ. Thank you, however the location for this rental car is far out from the airport and I had young children with me. Remember the shuttles for this company takes longer than any other company in the area. About a 2:1 shuttle difference while you are waiting. So I anticipated another 30-45 min wait to get to another rent a car company.
I then asked for the manager who is Micheal. He proceeded to also inform me that âI can just have my money backâ rather aggressively. Without any prior understanding of my concerns. Truly, unprofessional and a lack of leadership. I then invited Mike to take a look at the damage. When he literally popped in the bumper himself. He then tried to reconcile with a smile and no hard feelings after he realized that I had a valid concern. All of this in front of children and thank God for them because it could have went a different way if they were not present.
They seemed very comfortable in their actions. Like this is not the first time treating customers this way. Especially âAmyâ. Any sensible person would not pay/take a car with a bumper out of place. Both employees saw that I had two young girls with me and still lacked couth and class.
I have rented cars all over the country/world. This has to be the worst car rental franchise I have ever done business with. Save yourself the headache. If something goes wrong you will only be treated as if they are doing you a favor. You have been warned. I will never rent...
   Read moreRented a car through my airline app. My flight unexpectedly was changed so I drive over to drop the car off early I got there @ 6:30 pm to find the rental office all locked up and gated and shut down. Apparently they closed at 6pm as a rental company that deals with people flying in and out all hours of the day at night I found this to be extremely odd. The car rental company isnât even on site with the other airport car rental companies that offer round the clock pickups and drop offs . When I called to see if there was a drop box or drop location that I could return the car to I was told no they are open from 7am to 7pm on MOST days excluding the day I needed to return the car . I asked if there was a way to have someone pick it up as my flight left at 6am and that was before the office opened up in the am. The man on the phone said no there isnât and you will just have to change you flight or you can leave it on the street outside the rental office with the keys in it and HOPE that it isnât stolen or Damaged. He transferred me to the customer care team. The woman i spoke to there was a representative from the parent company Avis /budget rentals who this company is a franchise of. She basically told me to bad those are the hours and to call my airline and change my flightâŚâŚ seriously this is the resolution she gave me . In order to be able to drop off the car at the location I had to call the airline and change my flight to leave way later and inconvenience myself as well as pay to change my flight to a later time. They charged my cc for 200$ more then the rental price and they said was a 200$ hold on top of the rental that would be returned to my card ⌠it has not been yet still waiting on that to reverse . DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! I will also be boycotting AVIS /BUDGET retail companies due to the unprofessional behavior of their employee laughing about the situation. And making rude comments about them not being a part of that company and I am stuck with the hours that I can turn the car in and the situation was my problem not hers . Way to go Avis for hiring such a high caliber of employee. I am appalled by the behavior . Please do not let this happen to you!!! I travel all over the world and rent cars frequently on all my trips this has never happened to me...
   Read moreWas very disappointed with the rental experience. Arrive at PHL was waiting by the rental car pick-up sign 20 minutes and the driver went right by the location without pulling into the pickup lane. Called and asked for a shuttle and clerk said he had someone at departures and would send them over waited another 15to 20 minutes and the new driver did the exact same thing. I called back and the clerk was agitated I called back and started screaming for a driver to come and get me he was very rude and I was very mad too waiting in 10 degree weather for almost an hour. Asked if I wanted to talk to the manager said yes and of course she never answered the phone and I hung up after being on hold 15 minutes. Finally a 3rd drive came by after 20 more minutes and actually stopped. He was very pleasant and tried to apologize for the others. Took me to the hub and I was greet rudely by the clerk on the phone he obviously assumed it was me on the phone never once apologized for the mishaps. Was helped by Allison she checked me in and was very pleasant. She went in the back and came out and said they would take 10%, certainly not enough but was not turning it down. Manager came out and talk to someone on the phone about her dad coming to town the next day and they would talk about season tickets for Phillies. Hung up not even acknowledging anything happened. Walked out later telling the staff she was running errands and would be back later again never acknowledging the issues I experienced. The topper to all this I had a reservation for 9 am and did not arrive until after 10 am and the car still needed to be cleaned. I waited over an hour for them to clean the car.
