I don't live here, but I had a bizarrely unpleasant touring experience that doesn't bode very well for the management in general. Carly from Stamm Development Group was my point of contact. Email communication was fine, if spotty. She told me that the Vault has no two-bedrooms (This was repeated in the tour. When asked why the exterior advertises two-bedrooms, she clarified that the Vault has two-bedrooms, but they're unavailable). The day of the tour, I mistakenly went to The Vault coworking space, 0.4 miles away. Texted to give a heads up that I'd be a few minutes late to my 4:45pm appointment, and was told "I have a 5pm." Door was locked, with no clear way to ring front desk. A delivery driver buzzed me in. Carly met me in the lobby, led me to the unit, didn't say a word unless I asked a direct question, to which she'd answer in as few words as possible. I got the impression she wanted me to leave. No questions about my moving situation, no word about anything in the building (mail area, gym, quiet hours, etc.), only one-word answers if I asked directly. She then led me back to the lobby, "nice to meet you. bye." and left abruptly. I was in the building for maybe five minutes total. She was in no danger of missing her 5pm.
My mistake for being late, but if there is a building nearby with the same name, you'd think they could be more understanding. I worry that if there are any issues with your apartment, that you'd call for help and they'd treat you with the same coldness and dismissiveness I encountered today. It is also not difficult, if someone asks about two-bedrooms, to explain that there are in fact two bedrooms but explain that they aren't available immediately. No need to waste everyone's time and be rude on top of it. Not impressed, will not be...
Read moreSo originally, when I first moved here I was REALLY disappointed in like everything about STAM. I would email and never got responses back. Fire alarms would go off randomly without warning come to find out they were planned drills. And water would be turned off with no warning or explanation for like the entire day! My GF and I were disappointed because the way it was sold to us was that we would have fire pits on the roof top and a pool table (not a necessity but STILL!) This is why we were so excited to live there!
Anyway, a few months before we moved out, a different company took over! It made a huge differences and I probably would’ve stayed here if Melanie and Frankie had come sooner. They were AMAZING, which made a huge difference. Frankie helped me move out, carrying stuff to my car and came in on his day off to help me unmount my TV!
They have def turned the place around, and I would consider...
Read moreLiving at The Vault for over 2 years now has honestly been such a great experience. A big part of that is cause of Melanie, the property manager. She’s super friendly, always on top of things, and makes you feel like you’re more than just another tenant. If you need something, she’s quick to help and actually listens, which is rare these days.
And then there’s Frankie, the maintenance guy. Seriously, this man can fix anything. He’s fast, he’s good at what he does, and he’s just an all-around nice guy to run into. You can tell he cares about the building—everything’s always clean, working, and well taken care of.
Between Melanie making sure everything runs smooth and Frankie keeping the place in top shape, The Vault feels less like “just an apartment” and...
