The first two pictures are my nails 2 days after getting them done with gel. This was a redo because the first time I went they were peeling, cracking and chipping from the bottom and paint was chipping off from the French tip by the 6th day. The third picture is how my nails looked after 7 days. They refused to take care of me and my nails when I came in to get them fixed after 7 days because I “waited too long”. Just a warning, if your nails start to fade and peel, they only give you two days after you get them done to go back and fix them for free. They consider it wear and tear after that lol. Even though gel always lasts me 3 weeks before they start to look as broken as the third picture. He swears gel nails last only a week and nail polish lasts 3 days. So if you’re expecting nails to last longer than this, definitely DONT go here. They gave me a $15 discount when I went to get them fixed but they should’ve taken responsibility for their lack of quality in nails and done them for free (especially because I just got them done again and they’re already wearing out again. So I just wasted my $30 plus tip on getting them “fixed”). I’d avoid this place altogether. I went with my aunt to get my nails done and the same thing happened to her. After a week and a half her nails started to chip and peel. (Also gel nails with...
Read moreLet me start with the positives. Everyone in the salon was pleasant. The technicians seemed to have a positive relationship with their regulars. That is always a good sign when you go into a place and there are a fair number of people with whom the owner is on a first name basis as soon as they walk in. Overall, it appeared clean and had trendy decor.
I started with the the owner (I believe). A few minutes into my service, the technician was switched. The second person was lovely and kind. However, the gel manicure took about 30 minutes beginning to end. My nails were not in the nest shape, but I feel like they don't look much better now. She did cut me in several locations. That happens and while it shouldn't, is a risk you take getting a studio manicure. However, the polish application was not good at all. It is lumpy and all over my skin. Luckily I had an emory board in my hotel room bc I had to come home and file large chunks from around the nail bed.
I did tell the owner (I believe). He did offer to fix it, but I didn't have time and I am here om vacation. Staying and/or coming back was not an option. Overall, not a great experience. While they were nice and it seems there are a lot of satisfied customers (my 3 stars), I am really disappointed. My fingers hurt and I paid $70 and will have to get it fixed...
Read moreI never give poor reviews because I understand that no business is perfect, but unfortunately have to leave a negative review. I was a faithful customer for more than 6 months and would consistently get my nails done every other week until as of late. I was quoted a price for designs by Tom ($150) after he shared with me those of a clients he had previously done. Approaching my appointment I shared with him a picture of what I’d like to do and he stated it may be more. I shared that I only had a budget of $150 and didn’t want to exceed it, and if sticking to the $150 wasn’t possible we could just do my nails the normal way, and that it was all good if we had to stick to the norm, no hard feelings. His response to me was to find someone else to do my nails. In my mind I asked myself, did I just get fired because I didn’t want to pay more than what my budget allowed? In my opinion, that is not how a business is supposed to treat or value their customers, and as a result I have decided to take the $280/ month I spend on myself, and the money I spend on my two daughters elsewhere! Aaron, please understand that repeat business along with customer referrals is the best business one...
