UPDATING MY REVIEW AS THIS BAD REVIEW WAS MEANT FOR THE UPTOWN LOCATION. MY EXPERIENCE AT THE ARCADIA LOCATION HAS EXPERIENCE BEEN EXCEPTIONAL
TERRIBLE experience at the UPTOWN location. Visited today for lunch. I parked my car with valet - from Valet to my table and, my phone disappeared. When I got to my table I realized I did not have my phone, so I had my colleagues call my phone - the phone rang but no answer. I then went back to valet and asked the attendant for my keys as I forgot something in my car. I get in my car and the phone is nowhere to be found. I go back into the restaurant and ask the receptionist if anyone has turned in my phone, she replied no. I continue to have my colleagues call my phone, it rings but no one answers. At the end of my meal I grab my keys and go to my car and really search my vehicle but my phone is not there. I turned on my car to see if my phone would connect, it did not. I go back to the valet guy and ask if someone turned in a phone, he said no, he was the only one working. He let's me use his phone to call my phone and it again it just rings. I ask him to ask reception again about the phone, they said no one has turned it in. I get back to my office 15 minutes later. I locate my phone on find my phone and it's at THE HENRY. I call the hostess and let her know that my phone is somewhere at the restaurant and that I am on my way and will be making a police report. When I get back to the restaurant, the valet stand is closed up for the day. I have my husband ping the phone from the find my phone app because even if someone turned my volume down, the alert will still be heard. He keeps pressing the alert over and over and as I'm walking in, the hostess comes towards with the phone beeping. SHE SAID THEY FOUND MY PHONE UNDER A RANDOM TABLE - I told her I thought it was funny that once I mentioned that I was coming back and making a police report, my phone magically reappears. We had been calling my phone over and over, even after I left the establishment and the hostess said they saw someone calling but didn't want to answer because they didn't know if they should - THAT WAS ODD. I will never return to this location. I know this would not have happened at the Arcadia location - I go there all the time and have never have a bad experience. BEWARE OF THIS LOCATION. Be very mindful of your personal belongings - I noticed my item missing after less than 10 minutes of being at the restaurant. The valet company is INTERGRITY VALET, I'm not sure who is to blame for my missing phone and sadly I...

Read moreI recently dined at The Henry with a client-turned-friend on Thursday, March 13th, and the experience was an absolute delight. It had been over a year since my last visit, but The Henry continues to impress with its inviting ambiance, impeccable service, and consistently solid menu.
We started with appetizers, ordering the Short Rib Potstickers and Parmesan Truffle Fries. While the fries were average, the potstickers were absolutely delightful—flavorful, well-prepared, and a great way to kick off the meal.
For my salad, I opted for The Henry House Salad, and it turned out to be the highlight of my entire meal. The combination of tomatoes, crisp cucumbers, cage-free eggs, bacon, heirloom carrots, herb croutons, and parmesan was perfectly balanced and refreshing. Honestly, I could have ordered another plate and been completely satisfied!
For my entrée, I chose the Seared Ahi Tuna. The tuna itself was exactly what I had hoped for—beautifully seared and full of flavor. However, the green curry rice was undercooked, which was a bit of a disappointment. That said, the shiitake mushrooms, snap peas, heirloom carrots, Thai basil, and spicy coconut lemongrass broth were fantastic, adding depth and vibrancy to the dish. My friend ordered the chicken, which she enjoyed.
We each had a glass of wine with our meal, and to end the night on a high note, we indulged in dessert. While I don’t see it listed on their menu now, it was an incredible buttery bread dessert with vanilla gelato, toffee crunch, and caramel drizzle—a perfect balance of textures and flavors. My friend couldn’t get enough of it, and I have to agree—it was a memorable and well-executed sweet finish.
Overall, The Henry remains a go-to spot in Phoenix. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, service is excellent, and while there were a couple of minor missteps (the fries and the undercooked rice), the rest of the meal more than made up for it. I’d rate this experience a strong 4.5 stars—a place that continues to deliver a great dining experience time and time again. Highly...
