Firebird Balloons — Local services in Phoenix

I never would have thought I would have done a hot air balloon ride in my life...but for my mothers 80th birthday, I decided what better way to give her something that she would experience once in her life, to include mine.

Do not fear anything...do this... 100% not scary at all and I had no anxiety pre-board.

Rollie explained everything from start to finish on what to expect...got a couple of us guys involved on helping to start the inflation process...then we were off! There is no way to explain it....but I am a person with vertigo and I did not feel that at all. It was smooth, felt like you were floating and just an experience you have to do.

The landing was probably the only part that could trigger any type of anxiety...not because it is dangerous but because you don't know what to expect the first time. Think of it like a couple of hard bounces followed by a series of small bounces or dragging feeling. Trust me...if an 80 year old can do it...anyone can :)

Our experience with Firebird Balloons was everything we had hoped for and dreamed about. It was the experience of a lifetime, and I am so glad we chose to have a private balloon ride. We were set to go a couple days ago, and weather looked good to us, a couple balloons did take off, but Rollie and a few of the other operators cancelled because he had seen this weather pattern before, and knew that the trip would be unacceptably brief. He easily could have taken our money and given us a lousy trip, we wouldn't have known the difference, but he made the call and that cost him money. We appreciated it!
