I originally wasn't going to review, but the more I've thought about it, the more upset I became. The reason I gave 2 stars instead of 1 star: the people I talked with through reservations and the ones who called to tell us the cabin was ready/and called the following day to check on how our stay was going were super nice, friendly, and easy to talk to. The mountain views were amazing. And, they also gave us a preferred parking for Dollywood that apparently comes with the cabin rental, which is nice. Now for the issues: we were called the day of arrival about 3 hours early, saying the cabin was finished being cleaned and we could check in early if we would like (which was nice). However, when we got to the cabin hours later, I was shocked at the complete uncleanliness we walked into. First, you could literally write in the dust with your finger on the downstairs bedroom nightstand around the lamp - super lazy cleaning. Then I went to use the downstairs bathroom, and looking down at the floor against the wall, there was all kinds of dirt, hair, and debris that we didn't even want to have our shoes off to use the restroom. That toilet also continuously ran after flushing without filling up, and my husband had to take the top lid off and fix it manually anytime we flushed. The tub/shower doors to that bath were covered in mold, and the rolled up washcloth with the bar of soap sitting on the vanity had a big black hair on them. The kitchen had cracked tiles that, I guess the owners/cabin agency didn't think deserved to be fixed, as well as one of the blinds with a section just missing from it. Then start walking to the upstairs: there were dead spiders in plain site laying on them, and in the corner window at the top of the steps, the blinds were caked in dust and had a massive spiderweb on it that all easily could have been cleaned. The other corner of the room where the floor lamp was behind the couch had dozens of dead bugs lying on the ground around it. And speaking of the upstairs couch - that had an enormous stain on it, we were already grossed out enough that we never even sat on that couch. And directly in front of the couch were massive scuff marks on the floor from someone obviously moving it not very carefully, and while that may not seem like a big deal, if you're renting a supposed "luxury cabin" and paying for that luxury, then I'd expect that to be buffed out at least a little. On to the upstairs bathroom: more hair and debris all along the borders of the walls, a shower door covered in just as much mold as the downstairs bathroom, and a shower that had a constant, slow leak/drip the entire time we were there. I honestly couldn't believe these owners or cabin managers would pay these cleaners a dime. And lastly, the hot tub...while it did not appear to be dirty, it was on the upstairs balcony - which, by the way, the door to that balcony didn't even have a lock on it - and if you are standing on the lower deck/balcony and look up to at the upper balcony and it's beams, the outer one was curved and definitely bowing from the weight of the hot tub...very unnerving. While the workers did offer to send housekeeping and maintenance back up to our cabin the following day when they found out about most of the things (which was nice of them), we declined since all of our stuff was in there & we were gonna spend a few hours at the cabin balcony ro enjoy the peace & view, and because if they couldn't clean it well in the first place then why would the next time be any different? Again, very very disappointed in the cabin which is a shame, because it had gorgeous views, and really is a beautiful cabin...just neglected when it comes to cleanliness and maintenance. (Would also like to add that we weren't even offered money off after all of this, which blows my mind. And I would never initiate asking for a partial refund, because that's just not me...but definitely surprised they didn't try to compensate AT ALL). *I'll add pictures of all of this to show, which does not even do justice to how dirty it was*

**Must read if you are thinking of renting here** First off, they will respond to this post with a bunch of nonsense about fixing issues they never intend to fix. They will respond in a way to make the reader think issues were rectified….they were not. My family rented the “majestic view” cabin. We were scheduled from June 15, 2024 to June 22, 2024. I am writing this review from my own house days earlier then my checkout date. We arrived at the cabin day one. The view IS “Majestic” I’ll give it that. Second day we returned from Dollywood to have the punch key pad batteries die and we were locked out of the cabin for an hour. We were at the park for 10 hours and wanted to just come home and shower and relax…nope. This, I could deal with no problem. While the maintenance guy was there, I directed him to the leaking refrigerator. The water filter had leaked all over a couple hundred dollars worth of food and poured all over the floor. I told the maintenance man that this must be an ongoing problem because the floor boards are warped from continued water damage. The maintenance man told me he would have to return the next day with a new filter. He returned early the next day and it took him 45 minutes to change a filter. It got to a point I was going to suggest he leave it with me and I’ll do it. Filter installed, he left. The fridge started to leak again an hour later. I just shut off the ice maker to stop the leak. This, I could deal with (with some mild irritation). Tuesday rolls around and we decide to do the water park. I notice some big bite marks on my sons back and neck when he took his shirt off. I chalked it up to mosquito bites. My wife noticed them and was concerned. She checked his bed when we got home and it was infested with bed bugs. They were all over. This, I couldn’t deal with. I immediately contacted the office and spoke to Tanya. She informed me that they will not move us to a new cabin and that they will have someone come treat the room. I told her that was unsatisfactory to us. This is a health issue. I told her if we were not moved, we would be leaving in the morning. We all slept in the upstairs living room after close inspection of it. We left at 7am to drive the 10.5 hours home. On the drive home, I spoke with Santana. She informed me that they will give NO refund for the days we had left and would only refund the one day that we found the bugs. How can a company get away with this? I did not ask for a full refund. I was asking to be prorated the days we are missing because of their unsanitary condition of the cabin. I was denied this. We are out the money we spent on my family vacation as well as dinners we had booked that are non refundable. Thousands of dollars. I will be contacting whoever I need to contact to make sure people don’t go through what my family did this week. Absolute trash customer service and abysmal living conditions. DO NOT RENT FROM BEAR COVE CABINS!!

Horrible. We stayed at the three bears cabin. Let’s start with the cleanliness of the property. 1)layers of dust on everything, 2) bedding smelled funky as if the bedspread was never washed (ink stained, big weird black water stain), 3) appeared to have black mold in the corner of the master bedroom, 4) bugs everywhere (got bite twice in the cabin), 5) I don’t think the carpet has ever been vacuumed (open safety pin on the floor, plastic pieces of some kind kept stepping on in the main bedroom), 6) rug in the living room had red tape on the edge to keep it from coming apart, 7) the couch smelled moldy and was dirty, could go on forever here. When we checked in the water in the hall tub was running and couldn’t be shut off. I had to call maintenance on our first day (very friendly). Which the cleaning service had to have known because they just “cleaned” the cabin that afternoon. Maintenance came back the next day and fixed the tub. Hot tub- when maintaining was out on the first day they checked the tub and found only a couple of crumbs in the bromide floating filter. He went and got four more disks and filled it up. And said they are always supposed to have four. Was leery about the cleanliness of the hot tub based on the house. One evening we thought we’d at least put our feet in and found the lights didn’t work and the jet on the front right didn’t work either. The metal strip separating the flooring in the kitchen from the living room has nails sticking out. They know about it because they put black tape over them instead of fixing the issue. Pool table is rickety and unstable, with a magazine user one leg to try and stabilize it. When we arrived we found one of the pool cues broken and called and requested another one. We never got it. The lint filter in the dryer had easily a half inch deep of lint that needed to be cleaned before use. The two downstairs bedrooms have a wall that separates them, but the wall is not actually connected to the back wall. My son who slept in the next room shone his flashlight and you could clearly see into the other room, where the diving wall attached to the main wall is where you can clearly shine a light and see into the other room. This description could go on and on, but I think I’ve made my point. I would never stay at this property or one like it again. Buyer beware. I called the management company and complained about the cleanliness. They only offered to come out and clean the property again. But then I would have to be there to watch and make sure it was done. And I didn’t think that would help so I declined the offer.

And I didn’t think that would help so I...
