Exist; Beautifully Salon — Local services in Pike Road

So I moved to the area in March from Decatur, I passed Exist one day and called to make an appointment. Didn’t want anything crazy, just a hair cut to spice it up a bit considering I have done straight hair. The day of my appointment I was running late and I called 5 times and left a voicemail to see if they wanted to me to reschedule as I understand how appointments work. I didn’t get an answer so I went ahead to the salon and was more than willing to reschedule on site. My stylist was sitting in her chair on her phone when I walked in and no one was at the desk. I showed her my reference picture and we talked about the length and stuff before she started. I want to say I paid like $70 for them to cut my hair dry with no shampooing or anything, never offered it if it was considered an add on. When she initially was done with the cut it was fine, a little shorter than I would’ve liked but overall not terrible. Then, she took a razor to my ends. This was the week before Easter, I just now got my hair “fixed” as best as possible without having to take my hair super short. My stylist said my hair was uneven on the bottom and then the top layer was longer on the side that was short on the bottom and shorter on the opposite side. She also gave me full on bangs, they were fringy but still bangs. The picture I showed her showed a girl with face shaping bags that came just above her jawline and the shortest part of my bangs came to my eyebrows in the middle. My bangs are uneven still because to fix them would mean cutting them short again. It’s going to take multiple haircuts as my hair grows out to completely fix it. My ends are shredded and fuzzy from the razor. My new stylist is an older lady that has been doing hair for years and she said she’s never seen a haircut this bad come from such a reputable salon. I cried on the way home because even her styling my hair afterwards was terrible. I’m not one to post bad reviews and I’m also not one to complain because it’s hair and it grows back, which is why nothing has been said until now when I finally got the courage up to let someone else cut my hair. I didn’t realize how bad it actually was until another professional made a comment on it. The left side of my hair was a good inch or two longer than the right side. I read multiple reviews before I made an appointment with this business and still was let down. If I could leave 0 stars I honestly would. My hair is virgin, I don’t dye, perm or put heat on it hardly. It’s naturally straight so I don’t have to do anything to it, but to make it look somewhat decent the last couple of months I’ve had to attempt to curl it but I couldn’t even really do that because my ends pulled so bad that I was scared to mess it up with heat anymore than it...

There should be an above and beyond rating, that is how I would describe the ladies at this salon. Emily is incredible! I had been to different salon 24 hours prior for full foil highlight and layer trim. Other than sparce strands on the crown, it did not have the update of color I expected or paid for.

Walking into Exist; Beautifully Salon, just to see if they could fix it, I was hesitant to say the least. The ladies could not have been more understanding. Sectioning my hair there were obvious areas that should have had new highlights that did not. The color was weird and not blended into the rest, I felt a mess.
