You can truly get a combination at this Waffle House. If you like to wait, no worries- just go in and take a seat.. their regulars will have their food before you have your drink - 👋🏼HEY ANDREW👋🏼. If you want raw, order a blueberry waffle. It’ll come with half-cooked batter in the middle but a big long nasty hair on top. If you want sticky and gummy, order the grits! If you want burnt, order the scrambled eggs! I rarely do negative reviews but the visit I had yesterday was extremely disappointing and shocking because I’ve NEVER been to a restaurant where everything was so bad that I couldn’t finish AT LEAST PART OF my food.

My partner and I had tried to have dinner at the waffle house on Boyd-Cooper and we ended up leaving due to attitude, incorect order and atmosphere (to-go cups,plates and utensils). Thankfully we came here to the pike rd location where everything was completely different. Great customer service, hospitality and the food was excellent. After the first location I wanted to go somewhere else but my partner really wanted waffle house. I'm super glad I let her talk me into trying again.

I went in the new Pike Road , Al store a week ago for a takeout and was turned down by the waitress because as she quoted “I am the only server here and don’t have time for a take out order!” There were 12 people in there sitting down eating which for waffle House shouldn’t be very many! The funny thing is it would’ve been less hassle for her to take my take-out order.
