DG Market — Local services in Pilot Mountain

I've had nothing but good experiences shopping here! So far, the produce always seems to be fresh and well stocked. I love that they have options for fresh meat, like chicken and ground beef. The rest of the store is clean, the aisles are not cluttered like most Dollar Generals haha! I've been extremely impressed with the quality of the cashiers. They've all been young ones who are polite, friendly, and have a helpful attitude! Usually if the employees are high caliber, that points to good management 😊

I agree with another reviewer who was frustrated with no organic options, and unhealthy cleaning supplies. Unfortunately, these are things we just can't expect from a Dollar General. And I do agree that it would be nice if Pilot Mountain had at least one store with healthier options! Food Lion has a few.

Was in desperate need of ice and came upon this Dollar general market. It is pretty hard to screw up the sale of a bag ice, but this place managed to do it. It has been so warm the ice is melting in the ice machine. I paid 225 for a bag of ice only to get a half of bag. I complained the store manager came out, vape in her mouth she could care less. She offered nothing stating the machine was working fine. It will be my last stop add a Dollar general market. As fast as they go up it seems they have difficulty finding quality...

I went there for the 1st time yesterday and all the shelves are full of the lowest quality, unhealthy foods, cleaning supplies, and toiletries. I didn’t find one thing that was organic. We don’t need more stores like this. If only we could have one decent grocery store near our small town with better quality, healthier foods, then I wouldn’t have to drive 45 minutes to...
