There's no way to capture the true essence of this store in only a few words, so I'll make a summary then go into detail. Quick: friendly owner and staff, great prices, amazing atmosphere. 11/10 all around. Long:. I've been coming here for years. As of the 3rd time I was in, the owner greeted me by name (and I didn't spend a fortune the first two times either). Has always been exceptionally friendly, the communities for the games have been amazing and welcoming, and the prices are great even when he's not running any sales (he runs a lot, they're all amazing). The shelves are well stocked in every category, and if it's not in the store they can almost always help you get it. Business wise, A+++. Personally though is an even higher rating, that I can't give enough praise to. As a person, everyone here rocks. I've had the pleasure of meeting most of the owners family while I've been in, same with that of the people working there. And here's the crazy thing, they're all genuinely nice people. Not the "hey buy something please :)" sort of nice, the kind of nice where even if I was broke as heck and just walked in to look around for a minute they'd welcome me with open arms. They care for their community for more than the money, and they're all truly compassionate people as well. I've been through a lot of life milestones since I started going there. There were always heartfelt congratulations for the high points, and sympathy and kind words for the lows. So if you want a nerd heaven with a rock n roll atmosphere mixed in, full of friends and wallet draining deals, come check this place out. You...
Read moreGreat store to visit. Come here every now and then and their selection is really something to see if you're into MTG. The owners seem to be genuinely great people as well, and they do a lot for the own community and are very much dedicated to it. Only reason I dont say 5 star is because of the prices sometimes. With older products they're reasonable if their listed price is well above what the market is sitting at but their newer products can sometimes be problematic in pricing, sometimes being as much as $40 and sometimes more over what market price is on some newly released MTG products. I'm not sure if this has to do with the volatility of some of the newer MTG products, more than likely is the case, or a case of "People want it and I know they'll pay it". Hopes being its the former and in all likely hood thats the case because as I stated, wonderful people and a wonderful environment.
Overall cant recommend this place enough for a visit but bring your wallet, because they're probably going to have exactly what you want and sometimes that thing might be a little over market but of course...
Read moreLooks like a nice store but guess I won’t be finding out today. Went there around 12:20 shop says it opens at 12:00 and door was locked and it was dark inside. I wouldn’t even care if they opened at 1:00 instead of noon but if you say you’re going to open at noon then do it. Some people drive 15 minutes or more to come check out the store which goes to waste if the door isn’t open.
Edit: I called, at noon and no answer which is again when you should be open. If you say you’re going to open at noon then do it. Not 12:30, not 12:20… noon. I’m not being rude and inconsiderate, it’s the shop and the owner being inconsiderate to their customers. If you don’t want business just say that. It’s as simple as sticking to your advertised time. It’s not like you’re opening at 7 am you’re opening at 12. Do better.
Edit 2: I appreciate your openness and willingness to make changes. I didn’t mean to be gruff or come off as rude or inconsiderate it can just be frustrating driving 20 minutes to come to a store for no one to be there. I again appreciate your willingness to listen to customers and here what...
